The location is great and the waterfront is a great place to watch the sunset but the hotel itself is not that impressive. Room needed a deep clean as it was dirty around the edges. It is labelled as a resort but if you are expecting towels by the pool, filter water coolers and a decent coffee in the morning you will be disappointed. Overall i would consider my stay very good value.

Staff were friendly, kayak activity included plus towels, our room & bathroom was clean. Only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star was because you can tell the bldg was old and smells old, they don't have an ice maker for their guests ( we had to purchase ice from them) and my husband wasn't impressed at all and told me he wouldn't want to go back there.

The girl at the office was very attentive and left everything in order for my late arrival. Everything was very clean. A place to relax while the sun rose and set. This was my second time here and I will continue to visit.

They charge for ice and the place has an old smell. Security isn’t great. The room door only had the doorknob lock and was flimsy. It’s a great property with a private beach and kayaking. Staff was friendly.

Rock Reef Resort is a WONDERFUL property to stay at in Key Largo! Rooms were clean, staff was super friendly, and the grounds were well kept. This place is a gem with a gorgeous view. My only complaint is that I didn’t find it sooner. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely delightful Keys vintage resort at the best price point. We needed a place last minute and booked with the Rock Reef evening of check-in as we didn’t want to go back to chaos of Miami. Everything was perfect! My only regret was I didn’t plan to stay here longer. Will come back in the future. Charming!
