It needs a little updating but it was clean and fun to watch the boats come and go and listen to the live band at restaurants across the canal

The rooms are spacious and very recently and tastefully refurbished. Great balconies and marina view. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The area around the building was however a bit run down and there was debris, stored "materials" and other stuff everywhere especially around the parking spaces. Very small pool area always full of kids and a bit unusable. I would definitely stay again, if I'll be away during the day, otherwise not a hanging out property.

Awesome place, your really getting a condo not just a hotel room. Right on a canal so you have a great view from your balcony. Don't waste your time trying to check in before 3 though had read the other reviews with same result. Not sure why but if I go back I'll wait till 3

When we arrived the front desk agent was very accommodating and put us in a room away from the bar/restaurant across the canal. We did hear the music playing but enjoyed it very much. It ended at 10-10:30 pm which was fine. The room was as described, quite roomy and clean. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the boats go by. There is tea, coffee and fresh baked cookies in the reception area. The pool looked nice although we didn't get a chance to get in. The location is great! There is a wonderful diner within a few mins drive named Doc's, I think. We had a very good, resonably priced breakfast there. It has a long history and the service and portions were great. We would definitely stay at Waterside Suites if in the area again. I do, however, feel compelled to mention one thing, though. When went to bed at night I found a live roach under my pillow. We took care of it but it didn't keep me awake as the place is very clean and that can happened, and has, to us, even at the best hotels. So, I wouldn't let it keep me from staying there again. When we departed we did report it to the reception agent. She was surprised and said she would tell management. So, I would recommend this all suite hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced overnight stay with a great view.

Great place to be comfortable, close to everything

This place is amazing! So much more than I thought it would be. It was clean as a pin. Had everything I could have needed available. Front desk was friendly and customer oriented. Explained everything about staying on the property. Made sure to tell me there was a 24/7 clerk on duty. I will be back! And I'll tell anyone I know, of they are staying in Key Largo, stay here!

We stayed in a two bedroom and it was great. I would definitely come back here again and stay at this location. Staff is friendly and help me figure out how to stay an extra night in the same room. Location was fantastic!
