Spacious and clean! Perfect for our family with littles and my parents (grandma and grandpa). Convenient location. Neighbors a nice beach with a lifeguard on duty. Can walk to coffee, dinner and shopping. Pool was clean and refreshing after a day at the beach. Everyone at Ali’i was so helpful and kind.

We were happy with location and amenities. As well as excellent check in and check out process. Only thing would like to give feedback on was lack of cleanliness on dishes in cabinet. Several items still Had dried food stuck on them and made us rehash all dishes we used.

Read This Before You Book!!!

We stayed in unit 202 in November 2022. The unit felt dirty and run down. The listing states a newly renovated kitchen and two recently renovated bathrooms….but beware, both are completely false! The kitchen and bathrooms are dirty and dated. There was visible dirt and dust in both bathrooms. The bathroom doors were filthy, scuffed up, and in dire need of paint. The door are extremely loud, old pocket doors. The one screeched so loud we were unable to open and close in the night without waking others up. The master shower has the most awkward 3ft wall that needs to be stepped over to enter the shower. You need flexibility to get into the shower and beware if anyone elder needs to use it. The Murphy bed collapsed in the night when we were sleeping on it. The living room couch felt dirty and we avoided sitting on it for most of the week. The dining table chairs were worn and dirty. The fabric had holes and stains. The beach chairs in the unit were broken. The night stands had a sticky substance all over them. There were crumbs around the couch. My daughter wore socks the first day in the unit and they were black on the bottom. You could not walk around barefoot in the unit. We contacted the rental company on the first day and they sent cleaners back to the unit. They stayed for no more than 20 minutes and the unit was not improved. We spent time cleaning on our first day of vacation. This condo needs a serious deep clean, new furniture, and renovation.

Just like I remember

I used to stay at this condominium complex when I was a child. It has only gotten better. The grass area down below is just as green the pool seems even nicer and quieter. The beach is so easy to access and just steps away. My kids couldn’t stop commenting on how soft the sand was. It was fun to go across the street to the shops and get food or souvenirs. The condo is on the street side but that didn’t bother us at all. The view from the balcony is perfect to wake up to every morning and go hang out every evening for a sunset.

Great space

With a family of 5 this spacious unit was perfect. The open concept and large floor area allowed us space to do workouts, dance fitness and yoga. This unit is fully equipped with everything you would ever need in the kitchen and bedrooms. The only downside was that the unit is close to the road and since there was all sorts of construction and cleaning going on it was a little disappointing waking up to it.

Nice but dated

Great location. Everything close by and within walking distance. Nice beaches on either side of the condo. But the condo itself needs a little TLC. The shower in the master bathroom area is almost impossible to get in and out of without banging your knee on a 2 1/2 foot high tiled retaining wall. The sofa sleeper needs to be updated, pretty uncomfortable for any guests and had obviously not been cleaned before we got there as I found food debris and dirty tissues underneath the sofa cushions. Kind of disgusting.

Fantastic Location

Nice condo right off the beaches in Kihei. Our teenagers loved being able to walk to the beach, or to get a snack in the afternoon at the local shops. This place offers a great mix of "resort" with "town", with a lot of dining options within a short walk. Plus, Beach Street coffee right across the street!!!

Easy access on level 2. Spacious living room and patio. The kitchen is well stocked, AC and ceiling fans in every room. Not fancy, but great for a beach vacation. Close to markets, shops, restaurants and a massage studio across the street. Love the location and would stay here again.

Would be 5 star but you cannot use the lanai to hear the waves because it is right on a busy street

This is a very nice condo. Very comfortable. The mini-split A/C units (individual wall mounted units in each room) are good but the living/dining/kitchen area is a bit large for the capacity of that unit. Also, there is a quirk that actually makes sense once you realize you cannot go out in the morning with a cup of coffee to enjoy the sound of the waves because this unit is right on the main drag in South Kihei. There is a magnetic switch that, as soon as the door to the lanai is opened, the A/C in the room turns off. It can be turned back on immediately, but it is easiest to do so from within the room. You can take the remote out and manage to turn the A/C on from there. The sliding door from the master has its own switch. It is obvious that the unit is intended to be used with the windows closed and air conditioner running instead of opened up with the breeze blowing. Beaches are very close and the swimming pool area and pool itself quite good. There is a glass fence around it to buffer the wind. It is very nice to have wind protection without blocking the view.

Great value and experience for the family!

My wife and I took our parents and this was a great setup for us compared to staying at a hotel or resort. The complex is in the heart of Kihei, the unit has a great view, it was steps to the beach, very comfortable and spacious, and the Alii staff was great about communication making the check in/out a breeze. The only downside for us was the master bedroom gets some street and wave noise at night given it is an end unit closest to Kihei Road, but it didn't hinder our sleep since we were so tired by the end of our activity packed days. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Spot, Great Unit

This was our first time to Maui. We weren't really sure which area to stay, but we are sure glad we stayed here. This place appeals to all group types - whether you are looking to hang out on the beach or next to the water all the time, or whether you want to use this as a home-base for seeing the entire island, this place works. It's kind of difficult to find a three bedroom unit, so we were thankful for this one. Quieter, cozier, and less busy than Lahaina. Younger, hipper, and less stuffy than Wailea. Pretty much everything you could need within a hundred yard walk. Great restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Kihei is a little but busy beach town, and this is right on probably the best beach in Kihei. Great snorkeling spot. Around 30-40 minutes to Lahaina, and about 10 minutes drive to Wailea area. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. As with any rental, there were a couple very minor issues, which the management corrected in short order. A couple of quirky things with the unit one has to get used to (like the interlocking AC units that shut off when you open the exit doors). Unit well equipped with kitchen equipment. Ali'i Resorts was great, as were all the people we met from there. (Shout out to Carny and Scotty and Susan!)

Royal Mauian Kihei, great vacation spot

The unit worked out great. Conveniently located near the beach, plus all of the fun tourist stuff in Kihei. The roof top deck with all of the gas grills was awesome. We grilled three meals up there , plus it was a great spot to watch sea turtles as they grazed near the rocks. It was a great home base for our family trip to Maui. Mahalo 👍
