My GF and I usually stay closer to Tannersville but wanted to check out this area. This place was perfect. Room was cozy and the mini living room addition to room with a pullout couch made if feel more spacious. Bed was super comfortable and had antique feel of the furniture and house. the self serve (honor system) bar and array of board games made for a nice relaxing night in by the gas fire place. The coffee and grab and go fruit/snacks, muffins was timely and perfect for starting out our day. And the most convenient part was it was dog friendly and had a fenced in backyard for my dog. We'll definitely be back.
The whole family was so nice and welcoming. Iâm so happy I randomly found this place on Expedia. Will definitely be back! Great hiking in the area. Trolley that goes around town. Market on Saturdays.
Property was definitely off the beaten path in a small community. Old house converted to an Inn. Everything worked and the host provided wonderful bake goods, fruit and coffee each morning. Not the Four Seasons but met our needs.
wonderful and charming property, perfect for a romantic get away. the private bar and sitting area was a joy to behold. The rooms are cozy (a bit small) but enough for two. The bed was quite comfortable with a thermostat in the room in case it gets chilly. Caesar was very helpful and friendly. Light breakfast was provided and welcome before we started our day.
The room was comfortable and clean. The building is old. Updates have been made and the property appears to be a work in progress. The musty smell just inside the door was a put off but it was limited to there, thankfully. The speakeasy bar and common space would be great if you had a lot of friends / family staying in the same place. Unfortunately, we saw no one using the space, nor did we use it. The breakfast and coffee service was lovely and appreciated.
Lovely. Friendly welcome and service, clean, private, quiet, comfortable, everything we wanted from our stay. Definitely recommended and great option of visiting Woodstock/Kingston area
This was our first weekend away during the pandemic and it was perfect. We wanted to be able to access all the local hiking, waterfalls and swimming holes which we did! The cleanliness of our deluxe suite was great, the bed was very comfy and all of the linens including our towels were very soft and seemed freshly washed. Breakfast was not included due to Covid but the innkeepers laid out some mini muffins, fruit and tea and coffee just outside the rooms in the morning which was a nice touch. Normally this place has a up and running bar because it's in an area where there are no immediate wine shops, liquor shops etc, however, the innkeepers were super accommodating and let us serve ourselves to a bottle of wine on the house! This was an unexpected detail that was very lovely and thoughtful. Additionally there is also a nice fire pit outside that was ready for guests to build a fire and enjoy which we did the first night with 2 other guests. Overall this was a delightful 2 night getaway from the city and we hope to return again soon!
