Incredible value and location

This home may not be a complete remodel but the location, function and warmth of it provide everything you need for literally the picture perfect vacation. The beach and views are amazing. The temple inside provided great sleeping. Would rebook in a heartbeat!

Overall this location was a beautiful stay and the beachside wind/waves was music to our ears. Great area located by cute little shops and good food. Only issue was at 3am on morning our sky light blew off and we had to try to reattach as best we could. This for sure needs to be looked at and fixed before next guest arrives because this could happen at anytime.

Our stay couldn't have been better. The condo was comfortable & well equipped. Beds were comfortable & having a washer & dryer on property was handy. I went home with clean clothes! Location to Lahania was perfect. We found beach towels in the hall closet & beach chairs & toys in a closet on the lanai. Much appreciated and came in handy. Going to sleep every night listening to the ocean was heaven as was watching the whales from our own lanai. A previous review complained about dirty carpeting. We found brand new laminate flooring throughout, no carpeting. Thankyou Vacation-Maui!

Great location but issues exist

Overall this location and community is amazing. This unit is probably one of the most dated in the community. We were worried about prior reviews talking about it being dirty, but overall we found it appropriate when we arrived. Definitely is only a rental unit so is sparse in terms of decor (but the ocean is right outside your front door which is amazing). The kitchen had very old supplies/utensils and it wasn't very easy to cook in it. The outside space was fabulous, grill was nice. Would have benefitted from a screen on the large sliding door that opens to the patio. All that said, I would have given 4-5 stars, but I am a bit frustrated at how they handled a broken toilet. The main floor bathroom (the only one not in another bedroom) broke on our first day there. Although someone quickly came out to check it, they said they had to order a part and then never returned. I understand that with it being Hawaii it can take a while for parts to come in. However, this was a super old toilet and the flushing mechanism could have just been replaced with any newer variety to get it working again in a timely manner. A bit frustrating to be there with a large group and not have the main bathroom working ALL week. All in all, I would definitely stay in this community again, but probably not this unit. I may also look for a unit run by a different management company.

The location of the villa is amazing, couldn't have asked for a better location. The villa itself is seriously dated....I mean DATED. We couldn't see the numbers for the dials on the stove so we went with best guess. As for cleanliness, it was not clean when we arrived. There was a large amount of dust under the dining table and the floors were covered with sand. So we spent our first day giving the villa a good cleaning. Also the plates in the cabinet and the utensils had dried on food and some of the glasses had lip marks. So we had to wash every single thing in kitchen. We also had to clean out the cabinets because they themselves were awful. You're welcome to whomever went in after us The beds were comfortable but the water bugs/really large roaches were everywhere. Every night we were killing some before bed. And don't get me started on the large red ants. The community itself is great and I would definitely stay there again, but in a different unit. This unit could be a good one if it gets updated and something gets done about the roaches. I don't deal with them at home and shouldn't have to deal with them on vacation. I strongly do not recommend villa in villa in its current state.

House was in need of multiple repairs. Water was coming up from kitchen floor, there was a gap between the wall and patio door letting bugs and lizards in, several walls falling apart at the corner, cockroach in one of the bedrooms, gate code never worked. The good: beautiful view. Good location.

We had a fantastic time at this condo. Couldn’t beat the views. Saw whales and sea turtles every day. Had issues with the AC, but it was fixed super quickly. We definitely loved our time here. It was too short!

Perfect location, badly in need of update.

We have stayed three times over the past 4 years so are aware the condo needs a scrubbing. Nothing has changed and the carpet and kitchen are not clean. Windows also dirty. I don’t think we will stay again because of the condition of the condo but the location is absolutely fabulous.

Perfect for our family!

Overall great experience. Loved that the place had beach towels that were available. Wish there had been chairs we could take to beach. Others complained about the air conditioning but we had no problem. Really no complaints and would recommend to others.

First, let me say that the location is amazing, the property management (Vacation Maui) was responsive and the place was as advertised. That said, we did have a few issues. If the air conditioners in the ground floor basements were on at the same time, it would trip a fuse. The management quickly came up with a workaround, but still something to keep an eye on. As far as the air conditioners went, none worked well and it was difficult to get comfortable at night, especially in the upstairs bedrooms. The place is in desperate need of updating, but all-in-all it is worth a look if you need 4 bedrooms.

The property location was absolutely excellent, secured community very quiet right on the beach. The covered patio had very nice furniture and barbecue grill. We thoroughly enjoyed using it a great deal of the time. The lawn and garden area were very well kept and the view was wonderful. The unit itself is fairly dated and in need of kitchen and some bath updates. Also could use screens on patio. Noticed several units just updated or being updated. This one is a prime location and would be a 5+ with updates. But, still a 5 because of quiet, enjoyable location and wonderful outside amenities and view. Would definitely use again if available.

This is the second year we have stayed here but we were disappointed at the lack of cleanliness particularly in the kitchen. It needs a good scrubbing. The location, size and separation of space are excellent but when the kitchen feels dirty that effects the sense of cleanliness in the rest of the space.

Perfect location for a Maui vacation!

Location in Puamana was great! Steps to the beach and pool. Beach was just the right size, protected but with enough surf to be fun. House had plenty of space for a large group and was well-equipped but is desperately in need of updating. Upstairs configuration was quite odd but worked for a family. Wouldn’t recommend it for two couples as there was only one large full bathroom and a rather dark half bath. Having A/C added much comfort! Separate laundry room was an added bonus.

The property was as advertised, beachfront location, great amenities, clean and comfortable. Bottom bedroom bath could use and update but for us it was okay. Enjoyed our stay and will return.
