"The house was larger than it looks in the pictures and was very comfortable. We spent most of our time on the screened porch and in the dock area. Everyone (including our 3 & 4 yo grandchildren) loved the lake and felt safe with the house's life jackets in the low traffic, no wake cove. We made good use of the kayaks and stand up paddle board. The 4 yo was thrilled to catch a lot of fish. The partially covered dock provided shade for sunny days. We enjoyed a day exploring the lake on a pontoon boat, rented from the convenient marina right across the cove. (An accessible water source outside would have made clean up easier.) The grocery store and restaurants were close by. We cooked all our meals but one in the bright, well-equipped and clean kitchen which was plenty large enough for several of us to use at the same time.We all appreciated the children's area with toys and games. I didn't even need to unpack most of the toys I brought. "
