Whispering Pines has it all, with 3 King-size Ensuites, a fabulous game room, paved roads, easy access, and beautiful scenery! It is beautifully furnished and decorated, plenty of room to park your trailers and the garage is available.

The main level is an open concept Kitchen, Dining and Living Room. The Living Room is furnished with reclining sofas. Relax in front of the unique fire place after a cold day on the ski hill. The Dining Room has seating for 6 or 8 at the table plus four stools at the counter. There is one King Suite on the main level and a 2nd bedroom with a bunk bed (full on bottom, twin on top) The bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The lower level has two beautiful large King Suites plus a Family Room. Each room in the lower level has individual heat for your comfort level in addition to central heat and air. bedrooms each have a ceiling fan.  The family room features a murphy bed for extra seating and a walk-out to the lower patio.

Enjoy the large Game Room equipped with a pool table, foosball table, chess/backgammon table, poker table, electronic dart game and wet bar. Snuggle in by the fireplace in the Game Room.  This will be the favorite place to hang out and have fun!

Soak in the hot tub off the deck, grill out and enjoy your meal on the deck with plenty of outdoor seating.

This fabulous home is located in the city of Lead, SD,close to the grocery store and all necessities with a feel of being very much in the mountains. Watch the antics of the wildlife from deer to wild turkeys or fox and rabbits from any window in the house.
In the winter season you must have a four wheel drive vehicle.

Beautiful stay!

Our stay was wonderful. I have longed for a clean VRBO. It always looks nice online, but this stay lived up to my expectations. We really enjoyed the game room and the space the home provided for my family. The ponderosa pines was my favorite to have early morning coffee around. All around beautiful stay. We visited Custer, Rush mountain park, Rushmore, Black Hills Wilderness ATVs, Spearfish, and downtown Deadwood. Will stay again!

Treasured Mini-Getaway

It was a prefect place for my family to get away from the busyness of sports schedules before spring farming begins. We skied a day (very close to Terry Peak) and spent a day lounging and playing games. Hot tub, playing pool, watching basketball, going for a walk, and making a few meals together and playing cards were our favorites.

Friends getaway

We had the best time in Deadwood. We loved being welcomed by the cookies, recipe, and coffee. The house was so inviting and cozy! The house had everything we needed right down to the nice throw blankets we drank coffee and gossiped with by the fireplace in the game room. Was nice and open that we could all spread out yet sit around together. I can't wait to bring my family here to stay. Loved reading the repeat guests comments, made us feel right at home and confident we chose the right home to stay in. Thank you for the stay for sure!

We were very pleased with this house. Clean, well stocked, close to Lead, Terry Peak, etc. The garage was appreciated as it was cold & snowy. Unfortunately that means that we brought in a lot of snow with our cars. We tried to scoop out much of it but the snow never let up! A great location and suited our family vacation perfectly

We thoroughly enjoyed the Whispering Pines house . It was immaculate , clean and spacious. The bedrooms were so comfortable, bathroom extra mirror for putting on makeup. Love having tv and full length mirror in the bedroom...The kitchen had lots of pots and pans, utensils for cooking, big enough for all to prepare meals. Living room and family room were so inviting and comfy . We watched a doe deer walk up the edge of the street one morning and a nice buck came up the hill in the afternoon. This was the most beautiful house we have stayed in. It accommodated the 3 of us couples and single friend fabulously. A couple things you may want to consider is a crockpot, Tv in the single bedroom and a couple boxes of kleenex. The garage was big enough for all 4 CanAm Spyders, enough parking for vehicles and trailers . Location was great for all the places we wanted to go .. We will keep your house in mind for another vacation.

This property was outstanding! It was perfect for our family's needs. It is clean, has plenty of room to spread out, and has an excellent game room. Amazing Rental Property

Every year three of us couples from our hometown rent a cabin in the Hills during spring break. We have done this for a number of years so far. The Whispering Pines Retreat was amazing. Each couple had their own master suite with bathroom. The open kitchen, dining area, and living room area was perfect. We had plenty of room to prepare and eat our meals, play games, or just relax by the fireplace. Everything was so comfortable. The game room was huge. We didn't have kids with us, but this would have been the perfect place for them to play pool, foosball, or just watch TV. The property was clean and well-supplied with all the utensils, cookware, and tableware that we needed. The agents were easy to work with and were prompt in replying to my questions. This property is certainly at the top of our list for rentals in the beautiful Black Hills.

House was beautiful. Comfy beds, very spacious, plenty of kitchen supplies and bath towels. Nice decor and clean. Beautiful views at all angles of the house. Hot tub and the game room were the best for us! The dart machine wasn't working though. Overall our stay was awesome. We have a family of 5 and every one had their own bed and their own bathroom!! Super bonus.

Wonderful house, close to town but still enjoyed the wilderness and daily visits from wildlife!

We enjoyed have space for each couple and being able to use the garage for our side by sides was fantastic. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and more! The house was beautiful!

Property could have been cleaned more thoroughly. There was no working coffee maker. Beds were great. The game room was pretty amazing. Overall a very nice stay. The deer around the house ate out of our hands.
