The hotel was nice enough, and I felt safe in the area. However, I had a terrible night of sleep. The mattress was hard and squeaky, the bed had only a sheet and a thin blanket on it with no extra blankets in the closet, the lights from the street illuminated the window and room all night, and there was a screaming baby across the hall all night. I did not enjoy my stay. If you need a place to crash and don’t care about sleep quality, this is fine. Otherwise, see if there’s another option.

Check in was confusing. They said I pre paid but still needed my card and charged it. She said they didn’t have any info in their system. At 10pm it was a lot. I had to make up the sofa bed myself and request extra pillows. Staff seemed annoyed when I called and asked for that. We had 4 in a king bed suite with sleeper sofa.

Stay while visiting UK

We stayed here while visiting University of Kentucky. The hotel was a ten minute drive to the University which was perfect. The hotel is located near many food options and a grocery store which was convenient. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. And coffee was available all day long.

I have stayed here a few times. I also stay at other hotels in other cities and this location is, by far, the best!! The staff is always pleasant, the condition and cleanliness of all the spaces is always 5 stars and even the food is better than other Holiday Inn Express locations. I highly recommend this location.
