Wedding weekend

We had a great time at the Inn. The purpose for us on this visit was to relax and recharge for a busy summer. We did just that but attended a friends son's wedding on Saturday and it was close to everything we needed.

You cannot beat the view and all of the amenities including a lovely welcome gift. The location is great. The layout of furniture is a little awkward. The host does a good job describing it in the description, but the loft is even smaller than I was picturing in my head. But overall, if I had 4 or less people, I would definitely stay there again! I also loved the commitment to the horse theme!

Beautiful serene atmosphere

We were in town for a college visit and this was a lovely quiet place to stay yet very close to everything! The UK campus, Keenland racetrack and Lexington Castle all within 15 minutes. We loved the open floor plan and beds were comfortable. My daughter loved the loft but know it is open to and above the master bedroom and an accessible by a ladder only. This was fine for her and us but may not be for every family. They had all needed amenities and hosts were accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

Great long weekend

We stayed here during a long weekend of visiting Keeneland, horse farms, and bourbon distilleries. We couldn't have been happier with the decision. The place was in a great location. It was such a unique and beautiful property. The views of the farm in the morning were great to wake up to and the owners were easy to communicate with.

Cozy getaway with a view

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is exactly as listed. We woke up to watching the sunrise over the field with the autumn trees in the back. The fire pit was nice and we used it the second night. We had all we needed and would book again.

Spectacular Views

Darley View was amazing! Very well stocked and the amenities surpassed our expectations. We loved having wine and bourbon on the patio deck watching the sun set. The fire pit was perfect for the cold nights. Great for a couple’s getaway. We hope to be back.

Wonderful horse country getaway!

Charming accommodations in a beautiful setting. Close to Keeneland, the Kentucky Horse Park and the Bourbon Trail. Tom was a wonderful host and gave us several great recommendations for places to go and things to do in the area. Had a fantastic experience!

Unique and Wonderful Place

Great transformation of a barn/garage. The owners turned the space into a fabulous guest house. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of horse farm. Very tranquil. Owners are very nice and accessible.

Perfect Birthday Getaway!

My husband and I chose this property because of the views, the beauty of the backyard and how gorgeous the pictures of the house were. I've never been more impressed!!! the pictures do not do the property justice! When we arrived it was a beautiful afternoon, we enjoyed resting in the hammock in the back yard. There was a birthday balloon and some chocolate/bourbon liqueur from the host. The upstairs of the house was my favorite part with windows to see the views of the next door horse farm. The ceiling is vaulted and makes the room feel huge. The bed is so comfortable and the sheets are divine! The towels are all monogrammed and they have a basket of random supplies you may have forgotten, razor, feminine hygiene products, etc. They also left chocolates by the bed. Having a fire is one of my favorite things in the world and the host had fire starter and lighters as well as wood in the fire pit!!! I would most def stay here again. It was the most perfect weekend!!

Beautiful view

We wanted a short weekend and accommodations in the country in Lexington.. Darley view fit the bill. We had lived in ky when my husband studied for his PhD many years ago. We had not forgotten how beautiful it was though and sitting outside in the evening watching the four horses in the pasture was peaceful and charming. The decor in the property, horse themed, had been well thought out. The upstairs bedroom area was stunning. I especially like the colors that made the room, and again horse photos. It was nice to be back in Lexington and enjoyed our stay at delightful Darley View.
