Staff was very friendly, and kind. The room was clean and convenient location within the place, our only negative experience was the dog outside another near by location that was constantly barking while we tried to sleep.

I understand this isn’t a luxury hotel and just a simple BandB. It’s fairly old, peeling wallpaper, dusty and dirty room with moulds in the shower. Not the end of the world but if there were better options in Sintra we likely would have moved. Just hard to relax when things are so dirty.

Well located

Well located, walking distance from most Sintra attractions (Palacio de Pena is close but a steep up hill climb) and lot of eating options. It's far from everything else. Very happy w/ our stay.

Great staff

This was my 2nd time staying here. It is super cute and close to some of the palaces. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful! There are two staff members that we loved both stays. Dulce is so funny and kind hearted. She is the reason we returned. She is amazing! We also love Ruta! Very sweet! Ruta is very kind. We love both of these amazing ladies! You need to stay here to meet Dulce and Ruta!

Can’t beat this location, easy to get to from the city center and a short walk to the bus stops to see everything in sintra. The room was beautiful and the staff was welcoming and helpful.

This is charming old property with a personal touch. The staff are lovely and helpful, and the house is full of character and - within the inevitable limits of an ancient building - well appointed. Very comfortable beds and effective (and needed!) aircon. The location is wonderful, although coming to Sintra by car is a mistake! Taxis and Uber are plentiful and cheap. I would leave the car behind next time.

Only issue is getting an uber to the property to get us back to the train station. Bathroom was small, over 5’i8 your knees will be touching the wall when you use the facilities. Otherwise amazing staff and beautiful room

The staff especially Rueben were all very wonderful! I loved my stay there. Just be aware the road outside is closed to traffic but they will give you a code so a driver can access. I was there during the terrible Martinho storm and the road was closed so the owner actually carried my luggage up the hill for me! I will definitely come back!

Really enjoyed connecting with our hostess Dolce. Good breakfast. The room was large and comfortable. The wifi wasn’t very strong but not surprising with an older structure. Very close to historic downtown. Lovely, highly recommend!

Enjoyable winter stay

Staff are friendly and welcoming, but reception is only open until 5pm which is a bit limiting. Wonderful position near the centre of Sintra. Shower v good and room spotless. As ever, January is a chilly time in Portugal!
