Karen was a great communicator and very helpful. I was very interested in the history of the building, which used to be a day activity and care center for local elderly residents. She has done a great job renovating and preserving the character. Our room (#2) was spacious with many windows and good air flow. Great location to access palaces and castle.

April 2026 We stayed in the family suite and a queen bed room, both were spacious and nicely decorated. Staff were very helpful with storing our luggage and ensuring that gluten free options were available for breakfast. Good breakfast selection and perfect to get started on a busy day of sightseeing. Location is excellent for its proximity to Quinta da Regaleira ( short walk), central historical area, the tourism office, and the taxi stand area. We parked our rental car below by the train station and utilized uber and taxi to ride up and down with our luggage. It is a short walk from the central historic area to Sintra 1012 Boutique Guest House.
