I had booked a single room, but they upgraded me to a double, which was very welcome and the extra space was hugely appreciated.
The staff were friendly at check in and check out.
Overall, we did not enjoy the stay here. The staff was very friendly and check in was easy. Our rooms were cleaned daily. The location is great bc it’s close to the train station. However, there is no air conditioning, rooms are small, and the bathrooms were barely big enough to stand in. Could definitely use a renovation. I’d recommend staying here for a short stay only.
The room was small - little room for cases, the bed was uncomfortable, getting cases to our room was difficult as there were stairs, narrow corridors and narrow room door that only opened to 60 degrees because of the wall to the bathroom/wardrobe
This was an awful experience. We ordered a quad room, with 3 distinct beds, and the picture was nice. They put us in the basement, in a boiling hot room, with 2 full beds and an airline sized bathroom. It was awful.
There was a television in the room but no hand control.
I reported it twice and was told that it would be sorted.
it did not appear so I was unable to watch the t.v. for the duration of my stay! Not enough coat hangers...
It was the cheapest hotel option so I can’t say much. The room was clean, well presented. But you couldn’t fit luggage in there. The bed was up against the wall, we booked a double room, didn’t expect a small double around 120cm wide, barely fitting myself and my partner and our baby (we did say
Ok, so i had read all the reviews slating this place. I was in two minds whether to cancel the whole trip. I'm so glad i didn’t
Yes, the hotel is dated, but they are currently working hard to renovate it
We were in room 2. A very generous spacious room with hugh ceilings. 2 double beds. Huge window overlooking the park. The window had a huge steel safety frame locked around it but the sash window did open behind it
There was a single mattress outside resting against the window. I presume it had been thrown out from a room above. It didnt impact the view from our window just not the most pleasant a view from the bottom half of the window
The toilet/shower are in a cupboard space. Very basic, but clean. Hot and cold taps that could be adjusted to suit your temperature needs. Plenty of fresh clean towels - replaced daily. Beds were made daily. Bins were also emptied daily
There's a small mirror table with tea/coffee, hairdryer and a fan
Staff were friendly, polite, and happy to assist with queries
I stay in london every 3-4 months. I have stayed in chain hotels and individual hotels. Honestly, I would recommend this hotel as much as i would several other hotels in the area
The location is perfect for the tube. Plenty of eateries/pubs 2 streets along. Then all the shops and chain fast food on Queensway Road
A 5-10 minute walk from Bayswater Underground Station depending on how quickly you walk
I would book to stay here again and i would recommend to family and friends.
