Cozy 1 bedroom 1 bath unit on private property in a safe and affluent beach community, 5 min. from the airport and the beach. Downtown of this small town like suburb of Los Angeles is just a few blocks walk, bus stops nearby and about 30 min drive to anywhere you would want to see or shop in Southern California. Bicycle paths, surfing and plenty of great restaurants a few minutes away. Walks on the local piers, whale watching and fishing also available in nearby areas. While there is no pool on the property, El Segundo offers four community pools and the beach is about 3 minutes away. Dining and fashion shopping about 5 min. away at El Segundo Plaza, The Point and Manhattan Village mall. Many parks nearby including the 18 acre El Segundo Recreation Park.

Emplacement pratique

Maison proche de l’aĂ©roport ce qui Ă©tait pratique Ă©tait donnĂ© notre atterrissage tard le soir. De plus, c’est relativement prĂȘt de tout ce qui est intĂ©ressant Ă  voir Ă  LA. La communication avec le propriĂ©taire Ă©tait rapide et excellente. Le seul point dommage est le fait que tous les lits sont dans la mĂȘme piĂšce et qu’il fait sombre. Bien que la maison Ă©tait trĂšs propre, elle avait une odeur d’humiditĂ© dĂ©sagrĂ©able. Pour le reste tout Ă©tait bien.

Quiet, clean, convenient

This place was perfect for our visit! Very clean and spacious, very quiet neighborhood. It’s also a quick walk from El Segundo’s downtown area, where there are lots of little shops and cafes. The laundry on-site was a huge plus. It’s a great place to rest after a long day of exploring!

El Segundo Gem

Wonderful little guest house in great location in El Segundo. Minutes from the airport, and close to both cute little downtown of El Segundo and highway to head into LA. The beach is also a few minutes away. The property is clean, comfortable and quiet and the owners were excellent to deal with. We will be back!

Just right for El Segundo short-term stay

The neighborhood is excellent but difficult to get to the nearest train station, so getting a ride-share is the way to go to the city and back, a short trip to LAX. The house was nice, cute, suitable for a family who doesn't mind sleeping in the same room. Due for a couple repairs but the owners were friendly and made an effort to make sure their guests are taken care of. Would stay here again.

We had a great visit at this charming property. Great location. Very close to Manhattan Beach and walkable to downtown El Segundo. Host was very responsive and took care of all of our needs. Great stay!

Great location

The property is exactly as shown in the photos and worked well for an extended stay while I was transitioning to move out of the US. It is very private, quiet, and in a great neighborhood with easy access to the 105, 405, and LAX. The owners were very responsive to questions I had. When I return to LA I will definitely book this property.

Great vacation getaway in a nice neighborhood near the beach.

Loved the location near LAX/Clutters Park and the beach. This made a perfect vacation home for our family of 5 for a few days. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Cottage!

The house had all the amenities you need and very comfortable beds. Bill was easy to get ahold of and made sure our stay was comfortable. Wonderful host! The air conditioner is free standing but operates very efficiently. The washer & dryer were a huge plus. I would recommend staying there!

Nice neighborhood

The neighborhood was nice but the only nice part of the house was the picture. The place was dirty! The only towels were hand towels and wash cloths. Oh and then there were the cockroaches
 Yikes! Shower was moldy and the shower curtain had mold 1/3 of the way up. We cleaned and bought a plastic shower curtain. We would have left but at that point other options were unavailable

Terrific place!

We had an excellent time at this guest house! Bob and Emma were very responsive and helpful and gave detailed information for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant and the location was very convenient to get just about anywhere in greater LA (less than 40 minutes in almost every case). Two MINOR things: There are rectangular gaps cut into the top of the wall between the living space and the bedroom (which we didn’t realize ahead of time but we presumed was for code reasons) that made things a little challenging noisewise after the kids went to bed, and the cold water faucet piece needed to be fixed on the sink. Other than that, perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice place

Overall it was a very pleasant stay. The futon was not very comfortable to sleep on; I would recommend not planning to use it as a bed. We were not able to get the DVD player working, and the TV has some dark splotches near the top, but still very usable. Everything else was excellent. Having the washer and dryer so easily available was fantastic.
