Check in staff wouldn’t acknowledge us as we stood at the desk with no one in line. When I stepped closer and asked if the note was open, she mumbled “hold on”...then Stephanie told us our room wasn’t ready and would not be available until after 4pm and there were no other suites available for us. She was more than indifferent. Will definitely not come back and will earn friends to avoid this place.

Good Hotel--just a bit on the over-priced side...

We were there for a business meeting--it's a bit pricy for the quality of the rooms--but we enjoyed our stay--had room service..the food was excellent--but for one night--a dinner and breakfast the price really wasn't worth it.

Close to plaza

Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Cons: Some of the common areas could use a refresh.
Location: Near the plaza, which has shops and plenty of nice restaurants. The hotel is near the interstate so get a room away from the interstate.
Nice hotel with a relaxed vibe. The hotel is close to the plaza, so there are a lot of options for meals within walking distance.

Bad room service, amenities not working

I don't recommend this hotel. The alarm clock and hair dryer were broken and they never bother to fix them. The cleaning staff doesn't replenish shampoo and conditioner, nor did they replenish tea or coffee. I called for some tea bag, and the lady come up with coffee, without tea. It seems the front desk doesn't communicate with the staff very well. Or maybe they don't understand English. I called again for conditioner, and my call was totally ignored. So I called for the third time just to get some conditioner. I am totally tired of the bad service. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Great Hotel

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, safe vehicle parking, nice area of town
The Hotel is clean and comfortable and quiet. It is loctaed in very nice area of L.A. Ease of access to highway system (5 minutes) and beach via Kaman Canyon Rd is less than 25minutes. The Staff is friendly and the pool area comfortable. The food is a little pricy but good. I would recommed this Hotel to business class and family travelers.
