Manhattan Beach is as classy as it gets. We're a block from the beach and near Highland Ave, where there are lots of GREAT restaurants, bars, coffee shops and stores:

Walk Score rates the neighborhood "Very Walkable and Very Bikeable", and if you wanted you wouldn't need to drive anywhere.
-Parking can be a challenge in the beach cities of LA, so Uber/Lyft is a great way to go; maybe best to not bring a car
-We have one small parking space available and there is a paid parking garage with 2 hour meter parking close by
-Manhattan Beach E-Bike Rental shop is 1 minute walk away

-This is a non-smoking property, smoking is prohibited in units and on balconies or decks per the Manhattan Beach smoking ordinance. Additionally, the beach and Strand Boardwalk are non-smoking
-We ask that all guests be respectful and courteous to our neighbors. This includes community quiet hours from 10pm-8am daily.
Heating and Cooling: The unit equipped with a minisplit unit in the living room which provides heating and cooling for the unit.
Trash Cans: Located in the car port. Place recyclable items into the blue can.
House rules: We love our guests and strive to provide the best experience possible. Please familiarize yourself with these additional rules prior to booking
✓Booked guests only, please NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS allowed on the property (at any time of day), without host's prior agreement
✓NO PARTIES -Unit equipped with NoiseAware smart home noise detection sensors and monitoring system -Parties or excessive noise of any kind will result in eviction by our onsite security team and non-refundable cancellation of reservation -Ring doorbell located outside front door
✓Community quite hours between 10pm and before 8am - This is a peaceful quiet community.
✓NO SMOKING or VAPING of any kind in the unit OR anywhere on the property. This has a major impact on future guests and neighbors. $300 penalty will be charged by Airbnb.
✓All guests must have a valid working phone number so we are able to contact them if needed. Failure to provide this can result in non-refundable cancellation of reservation. ✓Guest must notify host of any issues with the unit that require repair or attention. Guests must allow for host to resolve this issue prior to any cancellations or other actions.
✓Please respect our future guests. Our cleaning crew requires all the time after check-out to prepare for the next guest. Guest must check-out on time. Failure to do so can result in $50/hour penalty for the 1st two hours. After two hours guest will be charged a penalty of one full nightly rack rate(this can vary from the rate the guest booked at). This penalty does not provide guest the right to stay an additional night, but serves as a penalty for late check-out only.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: 1. The Guest agrees to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by local laws. 2. The Guest shall behave in a respectful manner and shall be good neighbors respecting the rights of the surrounding property owners. Creating a disturbance of the above nature shall be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement. 3. The Guest commits not to use the property for any illegal or commercial purpose, including but not limited to sub-lease the property or otherwise allowing anyone or more people to stay above the maximum permitted or if not previously agreed with the Owner. 4. The Guest is responsible for any breakage or damage costs (or related costs) in or to the property - along with any extra costs that may result - which are caused by the Guest or any members of the Guest’s party. A $450 credit card authorization (hold only) will be placed for security deposit (in addition to $150 initial security deposit) and released after check-out. Any damage, breakage or house rule violation fines will be subtracted from the returned amount. 5. The Owner can refuse to allow the Guest into the property or ask the Guest to leave if they reasonably believe the Guest or any member of the Guest’s party (or any other person invited by the Guest to the property) are behaving illegally or that any damage is likely to be caused, has been caused or is being caused as a result of the Guest behavior or any members the Guest has invited to the property and without providing a refund of any payment the Guest has paid for the booking and the Owner will not be legally responsible to find any alternative accommodation. 6. Parking is limited to designated parking areas only. 7. The Guest must not hold events (such as parties, celebrations or meetings) at the property without the advance written consent of the Owner. Any of these cases will allow the Owner to terminate the Agreement without providing a refund of any payment the Guest has paid for the booking and the Owner will not be legally responsible to find any alternative accommodation. 8. The Guest must allow the Owner or their representative (including workmen), with reasonable notice, access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay (except in an emergency or if a problem needs sorting out quickly and you cannot be contacted in time. In these situations, the owner can enter the property at any time without giving you prior notice). 9. The Guest is obliged not to make any changes in the rented property without prior receipt of agreement from the Owner in writing. 10. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, as acknowledged by signature below, the Guest waives, discharges and agrees to hold harmless Owner from all damages or injuries arising from or related to the Guest stay at Property, including without limitation, any accidents or injury to the Guest, Guest’s visitors and associates, and loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. The Guest is responsible for keeping his valuables safe at all times. Additional Policies such as Rates and Fees, Check-In/Out Time, Cancellations, Minimum Stay, Smoking, Pets, Maximum Guests allowed, Children and age, Security Deposit etc. will be according to the House rules or the Reservation policies which are provided separately by the Owner. General ● Any change and/or in addition to this Agreement, House rules, and Reservation Policy will be valid only if it is carried out in writing and all sides have signed. ● Any announcement sent to either of each side from the other by registered post in accordance with the precise address written in the introduction of this contract will be considered if received after 96 hours from the time of sending it from the post office. ● This Agreement (including any House rules or Reservation policy) expresses and reflects all that was agreed between the parties and cancels any agreements and/or other understandings between them.

My experience with this host was a total disaster. The host had double booked our rental and so we had no place to stay once we arrived. The host could not help us find another location. I would never book any of her properties again. I am still trying to get a full refund with VRBO.

Steps near the beach!

Cute little place just steps away to one of my favorite beaches in the Los Angeles area - El Porto / Manhattan Beach. The unit has just enough for a little getaway. Super close to local restaurants and great neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.

Location, location, location

Close to nightlife Summers Bar, Panchos, Sharkees. This charming 1 bedroom home is in a prime location whether you are looking for excellent dining at Fishbar or dancing you will be in walking distance 800 feet. The beach is literally a minute stroll Grab a coffee at Two Guns or bottomless mimosas at Cafe Wild and relax into your vacation. If Hot Yoga is your thing, Hot 8 Yoga offers many classes I took an early morning class with Erica and she was inspiring. Facility was clean and customer service was excellent. This home is quiet and neighbors were friendly.

Perfect location in the North End of Manhattan Beach

This property is in a fantastic spot! Amazing dining options like Fishbar, Kotosh and Cafe Wild are a short walk away (less than 5 minutes)! It has a calming beach vibe and is clean and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely shower. The owner is extremely friendly and quick to respond to messages. The allotted parking spot is small which is typical of beach properties. I look forward to returning to this South Bay gem!

Great beach apartment

This rental is so comfortable. It was very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and clean while you stay. The best part... you can hear the ocean, walk to lots of good eateries, and not too much traffic noise. I definitely recommend this rental and will stay again.
