The building is dated, but clean. It’s a great location for walking and bike riding with lots of good restaurants nearby. We were pleasantly surprised and would stay here again. It was worth the value of the room.

If you are looking for an insular isolated hotel room this is not the place for you. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a culturally immersive experience, with home base in a clean, bright, comfortable hotel room, this is the place.

It was a clean, beautifully restored 1920s hotel. The kitchen had everything we needed to bring in groceries and cook meals. I think there is a terrace but they didn't explain how to get to it which would be something they could improve. There is no gym but the beach and boardwalk with bike rentals, and muscle beach a couple miles away takes its place and is much more fun. There are homless asleep at night so a little caution there. I will definitely be back to this hotel. A really fun vacation spot.

Loved it!

Venice Suites is the best! The price was great, location is phenomenal, staff super friendly, the rooftop view was amazing, and the suite was very very clean and comfortable. You may hear other guest having fun but what’s Venice Beach without energetic people!! Awesome experience

We pride ourselves on having the best rooftop terrace of any hotel on the Venice Beach Boardwalk with a gas barbeque, kitchen cooking area, sectional couch, dining tables, sun chairs and spectacular panoramic views of the ocean and city. Overpaid on an oceanview room that we didn't get.

The hotel is in a chic place and not for every tourists. Probably a very attractive place for young people, but the price level is not for young people. Overall is fine. I am disappointed that we got a first floor room, while we paid for an Oceanview room rate.

We are the only Venice Beach boardwalk property where you step out our front door and on to the sand. We are within walking and bicycling distance to everything including boutique shops and restaurants from Abbott Kinney Blvd to the Santa Monica Pier. Our prices are competitive and fair compared to our neighboring hotels at a great value for the amenities, location and ocean views. Our historic boardwalk & beachfront building consists of furnished studio and one-bedroom apartment units with fully equipped kitchens. Our Oceanfront room are on all floors. Our first floor is not at ground level and the view from the first floor room is the same as the higher floor Oceanfront rooms just a little lower. We do offer a guaranteed top floor oceanfront room at a slightly higher rate. Thank you for choosing Venice Suites for you stay in Venice Beach. We are glad you are enjoyed our hotel overall. We hope you will stay with is again in the future on your next visit to Venice Beach in Los Angeles.

Amazing location, modern and clean furniture/room.

Loved staying here and considering a long term stay in the future. On the beach, beautiful rooms, nice staff and easy after hours check in.
