Staff was very nice, rooms were clean!! Made sure I checked under beds for bed bugs and everything checked out good!! Im always worried about that since Bayside had them, so I always check now. This place is affordable, clean, great customer service! Thanks for the great stay!!

We stayed in the king suit, it was large with plenty of extra room. The hotel was in average condition for an older aging hotel. The bathroom was clean with normal hard water staining in the shower, the lighting was dim and wallpaper was starting to peal. The bedroom was nice with a comfortable bed, window view of the bridge and island. The living room was a nice large open concept with plenty of space for a ln additional couple or child. The sofa and chairs were older but clean. The room was slightly musty with older leaky windows. Overall for the size of the room and price I was very happy with our stay. If you want a 100% perfect, brand new, white washed hotel this isn’t the place for you; however if you have realistic expectations for this price range this is a nice hotel for the money.

Absolute amazing service, they work with u and get it done! Did find some mold in the bathroom and some things didn't seem to actually be wiped down. But over really amazing spot.

We stayed here in the middle of July. This place was remarkably affordable for what you get. The beach access is incredible. We had a balcony room overlooking the pristine beach and lake. The place was a bit aged but not shabby. The indoor waterpark was a nice bonus, but the waterslides were permanently closed. It was a close drive to the ferry and downtown. The ferry company offered free pickup from the hotel, so we didn't have to pay for parking.

Great location, shopping close nice beach view. Water slides didn’t work lazy river was green. Said they had breakfast on website no breakfast at all. Rooms could have been cleaner for sure. Building had a musty smell. Staff was nice and friendly definitely needs some upgrades

This was a clean hotel room, nicely positioned in the beach with a view of Lake Huron and the bridge. It is a bit too busy of a road to walk down to the business district . The pool area had the big water slides shut down now for at least a year, I know this because it was down last year as well.

Be sure to take water shoes- you can not walk on the beach or in the water without them as their “sandy” beach is heavily loaded with rock. You may as well sleep outside. The beds and carpet were wet 100% of the stay. There was dried liquids on the wall, mold behind the toilet, the bath tub faucet leaked, the small was awful- all of our clothes and blankets smelled like it. The staff always refers you to the GM- who is never available. It sounds like this is one of the hotels owned by a family there who owns many hotels that have poor customer service. You’d be better off finding a separate owned hotel. We needed to leave early due to an emergency back home- they won’t refund you for any reason, that is fine. That is policy, but that is probably how they’re able to stay afloat.

Horrible experience! Pictures online show an actual water park. The water park has been closed for over 6 years. All that is there now is a small pool, tiny lazy river, and a toddler splash pad. The lazy river floaters half deflated and thrown in a corner. Staff was rude and not helpful at all. After checking in and checking out the property I asked for a refund and was told NO. I called to speak with a manager and was told that Anna the manager would be to my room to talk with me in 30-40 minutes and never came. In the morning when I checked out 2 days early I asked what the managers name was and was told old a different name. I asked for a corporate phone # and was given the hotel phone # not corporate. The room was nasty dirty. I had a pair of white socks on and just after walking one evening around the same room they were black on the bottom and I threw them away. The walls had black mold from what looked like water damage. In the morning while Packing things up we killed 4 very large nasty spiders. There was a random pill sitting on the night stand. When googled it we found out that it was a crazy antibiotic for some nasty things. So glad my son did not see it before we did. The whole experience was just horrible all around. We booked 3 nights and barely made it one. We were gone before 6am then next morning.

The location is great because it is on the beach with a view of the bridge. We did not take advantage of the pool area. Based on how dirty our room was I would not have wanted to use the pool to be honest. Our room was very dirty including a stain on the sheets of one of the beds, dust on everything, and the floor was sticky. The hallways were also dirty and in need of attention.
