My only concern with this property is that there is a nightly beach bonfire (which is a nice treat) which caused our room to smell like smoke. It was quite strong while the fires were burning even though our balcony door remained closed. We were on the lower level of building 4. Other than that, the room was nice and the staff was friendly.

Room was clean however toilet was loose from floor with wax seal broken thus smell was increasingly bad in our room during our stay. Within 30 seconds of showering in the morning, water was immediately ice cold-possibly because other guests in our building were also showering at this time because when my husband showered later in the morning, he had no issues. Staff was friendly however would not recommend nor would I ever stay here again.

King suite balcony room was amazing! Perfect view, good sized room. Only knocked down a star on service due to housekeeping not coming though. Complimentary breakfast was great with a lot of options!! Definitely recommend to anyone staying a few nights in Mackinaw.

When I booked this "motel" I wasn't expecting much because it's so affordable, but our room was great, right on the beach with beautiful views of the bridge and Mackinac Island, and they even set campfires on the beach one night! We rode our bikes from the motel to the ferry, 5 minutes, highly recommend you bring your own bikes if you can, and beach shoes. We could have easily ridden all over town safely. The inside pool and hot tub looked clean, the breakfast was in line with what you'd find at most economy hotels, the staff was kind and welcoming. Comfy bed!

It was very nice till the people in the room above us started throwing food off their balcony and some landed on our deck scrambled eggs not pretty but the gulls loved it. That was inconsiderate of the people above us.

The bathroom was awful. The toilet paper holder was missing and looked like it had been ripped off the wall. The tub/shower was dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. There were no mirrors in the room area. There was a sprinkler head missing in the hall outside our room. The continental breakfast was not very good and the breakfast area was dirty. We would definitely never stay here again.
