Room was clean however toilet was loose from floor with wax seal broken thus smell was increasingly bad in our room during our stay. Within 30 seconds of showering in the morning, water was immediately ice cold-possibly because other guests in our building were also showering at this time because when my husband showered later in the morning, he had no issues. Staff was friendly however would not recommend nor would I ever stay here again.

Bonfire on the beach great. That, with a great view of Lake Huron and the Mackinac Bridge was totally unexpected but fabulous.

Sorry but for $185 a huge disappointment. Entry and hallways moldy smelling. I don’t mind a small room but dead flies and spiderwebs all over the windows? This place seems neglected and in need of upgrades.

Manager was very nice and the hotel has a pleasant view of the water. Our room was beginning to suffer from repair neglect with an A/C that didn't work correctly and a toilet which was very loose on the floor. We also had to kill over 20 spiders on the dirty balconies of our 2 rooms. The property is newer but since it doesn't appear to be well taken care of it will probably suffer even more from poor maintenance and neglect.

Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the setting on the beach, and the campfires and s’more kits each evening. There is a free shuttle to and from Shepler’s Ferry if you are going to the island. Slight drawbacks—bathroom and pool area outdated.

Was very pleased with the property. Property was clean and well maintained. VERY well lit for a motel. Breakfast was good with sufficient selection. Only thing was air conditioning cooled room but was a bit humid. Almost felt like it needed an adjustment.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and extremely hard working. Loved the smores and nightly fire. Breakfast was filling and well maintained. Beds were cozy, would stay there again!

Very nice hotel especially for the price! Very friendly staff. Love the bonfires every night. Only small complaints are the “sandy beach” area doesn’t go into the water and the spectrum tv was spotty sometimes. Other than that great stay and will be back

This motel had a beautiful view of the lake and bridge, amd everynight they lit campfires and provided the makings for s'mores. All of the employees were so helpful and friendly.

The room was very modern. Love that the pull out sofa bed is actually comfortable. Love how nice the people are who are running the place. Have an awesome view of the bridge and water. Would stay here again!

Room was clean and functional. No maid service for multiple night stays, just towels. Beds not as comfy as home, yet sufficient. Nice ambiance around the beach area with the fire-pit complete w s'mores. Disappointed in the beach is not swim-able. Would stay there again.

The breakfast was average. Eggs were good, while biscuits were cold. Not much else. The beach has large rocks to try to maneuver over to get to the water. This definitely needs corrected & is a safety hazard. The bonfires were a nice touch. The buildings need a good power washing. Beds were comfortable.
