Was very pleased with the property. Property was clean and well maintained. VERY well lit for a motel. Breakfast was good with sufficient selection. Only thing was air conditioning cooled room but was a bit humid. Almost felt like it needed an adjustment.

The property photos are misleading. For instance, they depict a pristine beach with comfortable seating, but in reality, the beach was covered in rocks and littered with cigarette butts. Additionally, there was ongoing road construction directly outside the hotel, and the strong odor of asphalt fumes permeated both the hotel and the so-called “beach” area.

Good location and great view. Check in was easy and pleasant. Room was large but bathroom was tiny with sink just inside entry door. Our hot water went out in the middle of my shower…cold! Reported it and it was fixed immediately. No problem the next day. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was not what I thought it would be based on other reviews. Went to a local restaurant the next morning. Overall our stay was good. Lots of other motels in the area but I wanted to book non brand name hotels and eat in local restaurants on this trip.

This was a comfortable room with a beautiful view of the Mackinaw bridge to the north. It has a rocky beach access and firepits and chairs so you can sit out and enjoy the area.

The view was amazing! Staff is friendly. The room is average, clean, and not luxurious. The bed is firm. The bathroom is tiny and low shower pressure. Breakfast is average. It is close to attractions, but you will need to drive to downtown and ferry lines. There is currently construction present in front of the hotels along that strip.

Our stay was wonderful. We especially loved the fireworks over the bay and seeing the bridge lit up, beautiful view from our balcony/bed. Great location for everything you could want to do, Jack Pine Lumberjack show 3 minutes down the road, and downtown Mackinaw 5 minutes down the road. We could see the improvements being made to the property and they were greatly appreciated. Would love to see the bathrooms be included in upgrades but over all it was a clean, quiet and comfortable room. Definitely a must stay for Mackinaw City.

The stay was wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Always greeted with a smile. Aside from the construction that was going on the road across all the hotels and inns. The stay overall was great! Breakfast was great and always nice and stocked. The fires pits in the evenings and s’mores were a great way to socialize with other guest and relax from the days events. I will highly recommend staying here! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The location was perfect, and I really enjoyed the outdoor spaces and amenities. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room had been updated, which was nice, but unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The shower was also disappointing — the water pressure was weak, and the hot water didn’t last long. It wasn’t possible for two people to take hot showers on the same day.

They were so kind to upgrade me to a waterfront room :) nice views!!! Clean bathroom area, great to have fridge, coffee maker ( tasty coffee packets too!!) great hot breakfast!!!! The downside was the bedding looked 40 yrs old and the carpet looked dirty - so I would give this place a solid 7 star
