I really enjoyed my stay at Sunrise Beach Motel. The location was beautiful and relaxing, with easy access to the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. It was a peaceful place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We loved the room! Floor and walls seemed updated. Bedding was crisp, clean and white. The sound of the waves with the open door and window was great! The hot tub looked scary. No way on that. But the pool and hot tub didn’t really matter because the lake spot was great and we’d do it again!

Wonderful beach view of the bridge. Room was clean except for all the spider webs in the corners of the room. The lake front room we had was ok. Bed was super hard, the tub was really old and stained, the patio door screen lock looked like someone broke in at one point, out on our patio the chairs were filthy and stained (looked like they have never been cleaned), there were cigarette butts all over by our area, and there were alot of families with kids so it was very loud. Just an ok stay. Kinda pricey, but it was Saturday in the summer in Mackinaw City. Very nice staff.

The room and bed was clean, had ac unit that worked great. The mini fridge didn’t work, wasn’t in the room much besides sleeping so no big deal.shower and sink need to be updated but do the job. Needs some work but solid price right on Lake Huron with a view of the bridge and walking distance to everything in Mackinac city. Owner or manager seems to be updating rooms and working on the place, definitely get a lake view room the manager said those are all updated and nicer than the courtyard rooms(where I stayed). I enjoyed my stay and staff was friendly and helpful

Inside of room was updated but had outdated and broken furniture moss on outside balcony cobwebs and dead bugs pool was not heated and so so gross weeds growing out of the pool tile hot tub did not work and was completely disgusting did not accommodate my handicap wife with a ground level room shower did not drain parking lot did not have room to turn around so it was difficult to back out and I think the charges were not what I agreed to

Front desk staff not very pleasant. Motel very run down and unkept. Very obvious no one cares about the place or guests. Pool was dirty and we wouldn’t even get in. Trash all along the beach. Very deceiving from pictures. Had alarm clock and coffee pot however neither had outlets to plug in near them only one was in bathroom right next to sink and cord had to go across sink real safe! I would not recommend this place at all. Exterior of place as disgusting.

Room was absolutely filthy. Bugs smashed into the walls, dirt smeared on them as well. Turned on water for shower and the knobs leaked brown sludge. Nothing like the photos and the staff was nonchalant and unhelpful. 0/10. Don’t waste your money.

Overpriced for condition of the room. Curb appeal is horrible wet paint signs but must be old cause does not look like had been painted recently. Check in at 4 key given to us went to room still not clean told to come back later 45min before got in Other rooms we had were not ready either even longer for them Smoke detector hanging from ceiling, one outlet by 1 bed dirty window in bathroom and tub not clean. Alarm clock but no outlet to plug it into also ceiling lights did not work. furniture was in bad shape and very uncomfortable beds Pool dirty I should be refunded I paid way more than others staying there Look at goggle review before booking

This is a property that has a ton of potential. The view from our room was wonderful. We were in a 2nd floor “refurbished” room. The interior walls and floor were new. Beds were great. Thumbs up. The table in our room, though, was unsafe…the top was not connected to the base (as well as being too big for the space). The balcony could have been great, if it had new flooring and seating-we would have loved to sit out there. The parking lot was under construction due to erosion and it needed to be maintained The pool looked super cool. Indoor/outdoor connected pool. If they continue to make improvements, I would stay here, again.

Us and our 2 kids stayed here for one night. We loved being right on the water, and the firepits on the water were a quiet and relaxing spot to unwind. Would stay again.
