"The location of Le Bovallon was perfect for us. It was a short walk to Mahebourg and far enough from the town to be nice and quiet. There are a couple of good restaurants and a supermarket within a 5-minute walk, and the beaches of Pointe d'Esny and Blue Bay (best snorkelling on the island) are a 5-10 drive away. Our apartment was clean and quiet and had everything we needed. Breakfast was interesting and nice, consisting of drinks and toast you helped yourself to, and a surprise breakfast of the day that was prepared fresh (waffles, pancakes, omelettes, fruit salads, etc). Le Bovallon was excellent value, and the host and staff were friendly and went beyond what was expected, even allowing us to have a shower after we had checked out due to our late flight. We loved it, thanks everyone x"

"The staff were tremendous and so caring and helpful. A husband and wife caretake the place and you would have thought they owned the place based on how careful and considerate they were. I was reminded of staying at my grandma's. Everything was so clean! We had booked one day because our other accommodation was far away from the airport given the time we came in. We were sad to leave"

"We travelled from Australia and stayed at this beautiful hotel in Mauritius, let me tell you hands down this is one of the best hotels I have been to with breathtaking sea views, private beach, beautifully unique designed hotel and best five star in class service. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a friendly smile. All the staff were very helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you to the reception staff and management for helping us plan our days accordingly to what we liked. Thank you to security at the front of the hotel for your exceptional service and friendly smiles each day. There is one highlight that we will never forget which is the dine in at the Tek Tek restaurant with our own private chef. The six course menu was inspired by the islands rich culture and let me tell you the food was on another level with the combination of flavours the dishes were perfection. Each dish was made with love from the Chef. Thank you Chef Shiva and Helper Karan for the most wonderful night and dine in experience you both made our experience staying at Mauritius incredible. We hope to see you both again soon. If you would like a luxurious stay I definitely recommend staying at this hotel. 🙂"
