Welcome to Osprey Nest MCA#50080, a beautifully remodeled beach house designed to melt away your stresses and provide the ultimate relaxation experience. Nestled in the heart of Manzanita, this classic beach home offers an ideal location where everything is within walking distance. Enjoy a short 2-block stroll to the beach, a quick 1/2 block walk to the town, or a leisurely 6-block bike ride to the City Park and State Park, where you can marvel at the Ospreys flying around the bay.

At Osprey Nest, we take pride in providing a welcoming and relaxing environment for family vacations. This home is designed to be a peaceful retreat for families and friends looking to enjoy quality time together. Please note that this property is not suitable for party crowds, and parties are strictly prohibited.

The main floor features a master suite with a queen bed, a luxurious full bath with a walk-in shower, and a small private deck, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. The kitchen is equipped with all-new appliances, ensuring a seamless cooking experience. Just off of the kitchen you will find the laundry room and a convenient 1/2 bath.

The living room at Osprey Nest is designed to be the heart of your family vacation. This inviting space features a streaming TV, perfect for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows. An electric fireplace adds a warm and cozy ambiance, making it an ideal spot to relax after a day at the beach. The open-concept design seamlessly connects the living room to the kitchen and dining area, allowing everyone to stay connected whether you're cooking, dining, or lounging. Large windows fill the space with natural light, creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere.

The outside dining enclosed patio offers a versatile outdoor lounge area where you can BBQ, dine, and relax in the shade. A pass-through window to the kitchen makes outdoor dining a breeze. When the beach wind picks up, retreat to the wind-protected side deck to soak up the sun.

Upstairs, you'll find three spacious bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a fourth bedroom featuring two sets of bunks, making it a perfect retreat for kids. Two full baths with walk-in showers provide added convenience and comfort for all guests.

This vacation rental is conveniently close to a local pub that features live music most Saturday nights during the summer. Enjoy a free show, or take a short walk back from a night out. For those seeking quieter nights, we recommend packing earplugs, as the music can play until midnight, though doors close at 10 pm to minimize noise.

For larger family groups, consider renting Osprey Nest together with Hummingbird Cottage, creating the ultimate retreat known as Sanctuary in the Shire.

Centrally located great place!

I stayed here with my family for a family gathering, and it was wonderful to have a place so close to the beach and downtown to gather everyone. The place was easy to find, check into, and enjoy. I would definitely stay again.

This was a great property for a large family group to stay. All ages. The kitchen was very well appointed and the location was superb. A great week.

We found this house to be as advertised. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. We stayed in October so we didnt get to use the outdoor room. But i think in the summer it would be where you'd spend a lot of time The beach is an easy 2 block walk and just a block off the main street. We would definitely stay here again

Manzanita at the Beach

This vacation rental is two short blocks from the beach, and just three houses in from the main drag (Laneda). Thus, there's easy access to most everything. To our pleasant surprise, it was also very quiet at night. One of the outstanding features is the large, outdoor dining and hanging out area. Quite lovely!

Great house at a great location

What a great house. This was our annual family get together and our 4 time at Manzanita. The house was perfect for getting together with our group (8) with the communal space. Perfect size for dinners and games. Kitchen had everything we needed for all our meals. Loved the bedroom spaces and the 31/2 an added plus. We would stay here again with the location close to everything we never used the cars once we arrived. We love the town and the house made it even better

Location is great! Loved going to dinner, dropping leftovers back at the house, then heading to the beach for sunset. House is clean, and well maintained-particularly noteworthy as we stayed at the end of the season. House was remodeled as a rental, and I appreciate having the extra bathrooms you don’t find at the coast for rentals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small but serviceable. I ended up hanging all my clothes and putting suitcases in the car trunk to make them feel more spacious. To me this was a small price to pay to not have to wait in line for a shower. I appreciated the kitchen stock, and that spices and cling wrap are left from previous guests for you to use. It is a bit odd if a different party is renting the hummingbird cottage behind this house as they have to walk past your deck and living space to come and go, but we were fortunate to only overlap by one night. If you have a large party and can book both it would be ideal as you can easily share get back and forth between houses.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the price of the property per night we expected something better, not so old and with a bad smell, but since it was unexpected we had no other option. If we were to go to the same city again, we would definitely not choose this place for our stay, I think an update to the appliances and the bathrooms would be very good.
