"Our stay at Southern Comfort more than exceeded expectations. I had planned a quick SNP getaway for my children for their birthdays and staying here was as much a part of the itinerary as exploring the park and Luray Caverns. The kids had a wonderful time exploring the woods, playing Ms. PacMan (me, too!), playing on the swing set and of course roasting marshmallows. Upon arrival, Jan had set out a "Happy Birthday" sign to help us celebrate. The cabin was warm, inviting, and clean. The view of the Blue Ridge Mountains was a stunning way to begin and end each day. Jan was very responsive for every message I sent her andnever made me feel like a bother! The kids are already asking when we can come back again and since there is still so much more to explore, I think it's highly likely we will! Honestly, the generosity and hospitality of Jan cannot be matched - thank you so much for a wonderful birthday weekend! "

"The cabin feels brand new. The beds were comfortable. Extremely clean. We spent majority of our time on the front porch watching the water and enjoying the warm fall days and evenings. Kitchen was well equipped for making meals. Game room was a fun touch. Hot tub was clean and warm. Luray Caverns were nearby. Food Lion and Walmart were accessible for anything you may need. "

"Great location and nice house. A bit buggy outside which kind of dampened our outdoor time. We didn't get a chance to use the fire pit or grill. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. It's also very close to town for quick trips to town. Lots of room for my pup to roam too.The host was very responsive and nice. We had a little snag with the entry code but it was quickly remedied with a phone call."
