Cozy-cabin feel to this newly renovated, exceptionally furnished house. Quiet wooded setting with lake views and access.
-Exceptional golf at Tullymore Golf Course and St Ives Golf club within 5-minute drive.
-Two local wineries within 10 minutes.
-Located in the Canadian Lakes area, midway between Ferris State University and Central Michigan University.
-Lake access is for registered guests ONLY.
-2 seated paddle boat, paddle board, and 2 kayaks available to use during your stay (Memorial Day weekend until the end of September).
-Guests can access paddle boat, paddle board & kayaks from Wood dock. Dock space available on wood dock, if you bring your own boat; limited to 20 ft length (advance notice is required).
-Pontoon is available for guided evening lake rides upon request for an additional fee.
-Yard games available to use such as corn hole, bocci ball, Can Jam, etc.
-Fire pit in backyard.
-Available propane grill during summer season.
-House is fully furnished with start-up supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, coffee & tea.
-Limit of 3 vehicles in the driveway.

Perfect Family Getaway

Most vacations seem to fly by in the blink of an eye! That’s not the case here. It’s, as if for moment, time slows for a bit. We loved the cozy atmosphere along with all the amenities! Don came to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed and provide some local recommendations. The use of the water toys was lovely and the nearby Veteran’s beach was a frequent for us. All around 5 starts! Thank you, Don and Yolanda for a beautifully kept place for our family to unwind!

The Wedding

This cottage was by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and very peaceful. The owner was present and accommodating to let us know they were available if we needed anything. It was a beautiful weekend and staying here put it over the top. Thank you and we will be back again! Cozy Family Getaway

Our first impressions of the property were great. It was a very clean and well put together place for our family to stay for a mini vacation. It is a very cozy environment for our children to play after enjoying the outdoors, especially the lake. We will definitely consider this place again in the future. The kids loved the access to the lake, and it was a very relaxing few days in a quiet area.

Beautiful, Clean, Amazing - 5 Stars!

WOW - the other reviews are spot on - this cabin is SUPER clean, wonderful, and just plan perfect. The decor is outstanding - you can tell that a lot of love and thought went into designing and decorating this cabin - with high-end finishes. We stayed with our son and there was more than enough room for the 3 of us. Oh, did I mention how CLEAN the cabin is? And, let's not forget the beautiful lake! Don & Yolanda are amazing and they allow guests to use the dock, kayaks, paddle board, and paddle boat - that made our trip SO much fun and memorable. We also visited a couple of local golf courses, and the casino! The property is meticulously maintained - inside and out. Don & Yolanda are gracious hosts and we would be happy to return. This was our first VRBO and they set the bar VERY high if we ever rent elsewhere. THANK YOU for everything!

Amazing moms only getaway

A friend since college and I stayed for a long weekend. The purpose was to celebrate my 50th birthday and to rest, relax, and create. Both of us are or were elementary teachers and busy wives and moms. We absolutely LOVED staying in this beautiful home to enjoy crafts and a quiet town to explore.

Wheatland 2024
