Surprise Extra Fees

There was a surprise $100 deposit when we arrived on top of the price for the room which we had already paid. Check in was at 4 PM, but you still check out at 11AM. For a 3PM check-in, there’s another fee. The hotel was nice. The staff was professional. But, the policies made it feel like a bootleg operation. You really don’t have to interact with staff at all, though. You receive your room key in your phone. You can check in and out without interacting with any staff. I’d recommend if not for all the surprise fees. If a hotel does that, what’s to stop them from saying you did something so they can keep your deposit.

The room key booth was down and my phone died but thankfully the lady was there and was able to let us in. Parking was good and the continental breakfast was ok. Not a lot of options. But good for what it needs to be. Pool was nice and clean. Our bathroom was dirty. There was visual mold on edges. The rug was stained in sleeping area. Dust on the server on the desk. It needs a good cleaning. No fan in the bathroom to ventilate.

Minor quirks

Overall stay was excellent. I do think there are upgrades and updating being done. This is a beautiful clean and well kept hotel. Minor quirks are the elevators need some refurbishing and when we arrived in our room there was Popeyes chicken in the fridge, and the carpets need to be refreshed The people and staff are amazing and attentive. Coming to assist right away. We loved the online check in. I will stay here again the next time I visit Memphis

My daughter and I were traveling and decided last minute to stay over in Memphis. The reviews and pictures of this property were good, so I booked it without looking into it further. While driving to the hotel, we noticed the area wasn't the best and after checking in and doing some research on the area, we decided to check out and continue our drive home. The hotel seems like an older hotel that they've remodeled. The room seemed clean for the short time we were in it. The check in process wasn't as smooth as others described, due to my last minute reservation, but the lady on staff was excellent and very helpful. Overall, ok hotel, excellent staff, terrible location.

This was our second stay (within two weeks of each stay). Loved that security is on the grounds at all times (felt safe), breakfast is always great, and the ease of checking in/out. Housekeeping needs always met. Our kids really enjoyed the pool (great option with indoor and outdoor). Our stays have always seen the cleanliness of the hotel!

The room was great. Dining room staff was excellent. The bar manager needs to leave the dining room staff alone while they have customers. Area around the hotel is nothing but poverty. No dining options - but the food in the hotel restaurant was quite good. Only one functioning elevator caused quite the backup during peak hours - and it seemed this has been going on for quite some time. Really wants to be an upper scale hotel, but the surrounding area will never let that happen.

After being at the hotel since Wednesday, housekeeper comes to pick up trash and dirty towels on Saturday morning at 9am and I asked her for clean towels because she took all the dirty ones out the room so I had absolutely zero towels and by 1030 she never came back so I text the number asking for towels so I can shower and start my day and they said they were on the way promptly guess what 12 noon still no clean towels so I text again and they said same thing after waiting another 30 minutes I called the number and they said same thing somebody was bringing them by 120 I received Clean towels absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable and disgusting nobody apologized or offered anything a water nothing! Then the tv stopped working the last night of my trip and the elevators were broken and only had one working! Never again and don’t recommend this hotel

BEWARE!!! We arrived at this hotel for our stay. Once in the room we recognized that the A/C did not work so I alerted a concierge down stairs. Upon coming downstairs we witnessed several men hanging out in the lobby with ankle monitors on. I have photos to prove such. Very unsafe, they do not keep the front gates locked so your vehicles and belongs as well your personal safety are at risk.
