Red Door Cottage Cozy with New Renovations to this Midtown Charmer

This 1,100 foot cottage is perfect walking distance to everything Midtown Has to offer. Brooks Museum,Overton Park,Levitt Shell, Overton Square.... 20+ restaurants, bars,movie theater,Ballet Memphis,2 theater groups and live music.
I am a local contractor and designer who has taken this 1910 cottage and gutted most it to the studs and made it a 2018 show place with attention to the details. Everything is new. Kitchen has gas cooking and is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a memorable meal. Roomy dining room with table for 8. 2 bedrooms... one with Queen and larger room with King. Both with luxurious bedding and linens. In the dining room a twin day and twin trundle bed are provided. 3 HDTV with cable,Apple TV,Netflix and WiFi provided to my guests. Outdoor space is provided on the front porch and makes for the perfect outdoor entertaining and relaxing spot. Newly landscaped yard with parking for 3 cars on driveway. Guest house is occupied by long term tenant. My goal in choices of finishes and furnishings was to provide better than a 5 star hotel quality me know if I accomplished my goal !! If I missed anything let me know and it will be provided.

We came into town for a soccer tournament and the red door footage was very convenient. The house is lovely and in a nice location to walk about. Whatever you fancy you will find you are not to far from. The outlander coffee is then a 10 minute walk and makes a nice latte .

We loved the house. Great location as you can walk to nearby Overton Square, CVS, Fresh Market, and several restaurants. It was an easy drive to Rhodes College (5 min).The house had olenty of space and was decorated nicely. Bed was comfortable, as was the sofa and seating area. We enjoyed sitting on the porch sipping our morning coffee. Check in was very easy.

Great Midtown location

We booked this rental last minute when our other one cancelled on us and it was a perfect location. Having two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was ideal for me and my adult son. Because we were a last minute reservation there was a glitch and the unit had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Ben was quick to respond and came to change linens etc while we went out for a bit. It was comfortable, AC worked great and having a washer and dryer if needed is a bonus.

Week long Business Trip

attended a weeklong school program at Christian Brothers. Great location for that. Great location for restaurants and DoorDash. Safe location with parking for two vehicles. House sits back off the street so plenty of privacy. House is well appointed and very comfortable for a week long stay or less. Great communication with host would highly recommend for a single adult stay, a family of four, or a long weekend for a couple.

Came to town to spend a 4 day weekend with our son's family and his wife's family.. The location was perfect minutes from their apartment, the house gave us plenty of room to visit. The house was clean and sits off the road. You don't hear any road noise. There was great parking for 3 cars off the road. You can walk out the front door down 2 blocks for a great place for breakfast called Bob's. I feel the kitchen is larger than it looks in the pictures. We cooked dinner 2 nights and had plenty of room for 7 adults and a baby to visit and eat. Both sides of the family would definitely stay at this house if we needed to be in Memphis again.

What a great location
. Cite, walkable neighborhood to a few shops, restaurants grocery and gas station. Under 2 miles to volleyball tournament location (on Early Maxwell). Quick and easy drive to Beale Street. House was comfortable and the host was quick to respond to questions. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, multiple tvs and washer and dryer made this a great alternative to a hotel for a family. Would recommend.

We were a couple and a single. The 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms worked well for us. Uber rides to Beale street were $7.97,also to Sun studios $7.97. Close to the Beauty Shop restaurant- excellent food and service and unique decor where Priscilla Presley used to get her beehive hairdo’s done!

Beautiful house and neighborhood

This property is everything the host says it is, it’s even nicer than the pictures, and that is glorious. If I weren’t a nervous arthritic this would have been my dream vacation rental. However I am so if you are too be aware: The two steps I said I could handle? They are not lighted, and they are extremely steep. By the end of our stay my knees and hips were stiff / sore to the point I was having trouble walking. If you are a light sleeper or hyper-vigilant, and you are going in the fall, be advised that the largest bedroom and front porch are directly under a black walnut tree. We went in mid October so we had squirrels and walnuts thumping the roof and front porch all hours of the day and night. Again, the property is wonderful and the host and tenant are super nice so five stars and I learned a lesson about booking vacations so win-win

National Bikers Round Up
