Room super clean. I love the old building. My husband and I gifted ourselves a staycation for Christmas and we stayed here. We are locals and it’s by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at and we travel often.

Loud music and DJ on Saturday night. 7 1/2 drive and could not sleep even on 4th floor. Pitiful. Party goers had the staff’s full attention, not the guests who were spending the money for rooms. TV did not work. Could not get thermostat to work, no instructions anywhere (sign, QR code, etc.). Finally figured out on my own. Fridge didn’t work. Left drinks overnight, still warm. Technician for TV got us another room for our second night. TV worked, but fridge still did not cool drinks down (2- 20 oz sodas) Technician also gave us tickets for a free breakfast for our troubles. Breakfast was supposed to be served at 7 am. We arrived at 7:15 am and staff member said she was only one working and was not going to start cooking breakfast for yet another 45 minutes. Free or not, we left and paid $51.00 at another place for breakfast Very poor experience

Room was small.. BUT!!! We picked this hotel because one reviewer said” not your cookie cutter hotel!” Yay! Must say we loved it, lots of character, comfy bed and pillows, easy parking, friendly staff. Highly recommend if you are sick of the sterile , uniform, boring hotel scene!
