Avoid avoid avoid! The couch was soiled with dirt , eggs were left in the refrigerator, stains were on the walls and dresser and carpet, it smelled musty, the shower drain was covered in mold. Parking is NOT AVAILABLE for standard F250 trucks and the hosts were happy to charge us to live in their soiled apartment despite being unable to stay there. Both the hosts and VRBO were content with the filth and irresponsible communication with the hosts. We paid the hosts to take our money for their own pleasures because it is obvious they have no pride in their home in brickell. The hosts are frauds and thieves. It was a complete let down and we felt nothing short of robbed and lied to. We regret this property decision to the fullest degree. Avoid at all costs!
Unfortunately the property was not what I expected. The view was amazing, the pool was nice and the location was convenient for restaurants and shopping. However the unit itself was very disappointing. There was hair in the bathtub, the bathtub and sink drains were both broken. The hair dryer was broken. The kitchen was stinky, especially the dishwasher. I ended up hand washing dishes due to the sour smell. The dishwasher was also wonky and the tray did not roll in and out correctly. The coffee maker was an espresso machine that only used pods that we could not find at the store. They charged $8 for 10 pods at the hotel. There were limited supplies in the kitchen. The ice maker was broken. The handle was loose on the kitchen faucet. The vent made a clicking sound all night. Parking was horrendous, but thatâs just Miami. Not really the fault of the condo owners, though a heads up would have been nice!!. We would definitely not stay here again.
My husband and I stayed in this VRBO home for 7 days. The location was perfect. We used all the amenities daily with no problems. The view and the home was amazing. The few problems we encountered were taken care of quickly. I felt very safe and taken care of. Thank you Silvia!
Property was clean, with great amenities as promised. Loved it. The check in process was a bit cumbersome, but well organized and communicated. All good!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property!
Pros -
1. The property managers were very communicative and gave a lot of recommendations.
2. The property was well maintained and facilities were nice.
3. Pool was excellent and the warm pool was the highlight!
4. The food trucks near by were great, and close by with a variety of options
5. View was amazing and room was solid with no noise issues from neighbors
Cons -
1. The parking was a bit of a headache and expensive with no in and out privileges for the steep price.
2. One day the pool was closed without notice after raining the day before. This was a true disappointment. The pool also closed at 6pm which is quiet early.
3. Wind created lots of noise through cracks of windows
Overall would rate this place a 4 star for comfort, view, and convenience.
Avoid this property at all costs - unsafe & immoral/insensitive manager & owners.
Sad to report that my wife and I had an absolutely horrific experience here in October. This review is purely objective, not meant to cause harm, but written with the motivation of making the situation known to the public w/ the hope that no one ever has to experience what my wife and I had to go through.
While my wife was at the unit alone (I had a work event), a strange man broke into the apartment. By the grace of God she was unharmed and her on-the-spot wit was incredible to scare away the intruder. She immediately called security, who phoned the police and the man was apprehended.
That same night we messaged the owners about what happened and let them know we'd be leaving the next day and expected a refund; we assumed they'd be horrified/understanding. Unfortunately, they responded in the morning referring to what happened as an 'inconvenience' and denied the refund. I had never been so simultaneously upset and infuriated in my life.
Of course, we left anyway - we *genuinely* did not feel safe, irrespective of money. We eventually flagged it to Amex to handle - to our dismay they BLATANTLY lied to Amex multiple times (saying they offered a refund, which we denied). Categorically false and we had evidence to prove it and eventually 'won'.
Disgusting on all accounts -- they could've handled this well and it's sad they didn't. Do better.
Prospective tenants - be aware.
Our stay at this Icon Tower residence was very enjoyable. The apartment was as advertised and the property manager was communicative and responsive. We would consider staying here again on a future visit.
