Mould in kitchen cupboards. We pre paid for 6 people. Only 2 towels given. No linen for fold out sofa. Asked for more towels, we got one extra. Ran out of toilet paper, they said they had no more - then they found one roll. Nice ladies at front desk just bad communication between them and housekeeping.

Housekeeping was exceptional and the room was basically an apartment which gave homey vibes but you can hear everything from outside your room, from people walking back and forth, swinging the door open, people talking and arguing! I was woken up from my sleep several times from people yelling at each other in the hallways. Also washer was busted did not add enough water to wash my clothes correctly. Also be aware there is construction going on at night time that makes it incredibly difficult to get into the property. Front desk was nice and professional,

They charged me unfairly 200 dollars for having my emotional support animal and the lady from front desk was very rude non empathetic. When I told her that I was in the hospital and my family was the one that was staying there because I had been hospitalized they were so rude

The property was extremely basic. It looked like an office building that was turned into a hotel. The bedsheets had curly hairs on them and the whole place smelled like moisture/mildew.

I mean it served the purpose, but I wouldn’t stay again. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room was very basic and I know that was an IKEA bed. I wish they would just put a little bit more effort into the decor and the mattress and pillows.

Our stay at South River Suites is always pleasant. I have never had a problem with the staff or booking. The area can get noisy since it’s in right next to warehouses and busy roads. I don’t have a problem with it but you might want to look for another area if you’re expecting very quiet mornings. Only thing I would say the property might need to work on (and not even by a lot) is that it hasn’t fully renovated all the rooms. We’ve booked here a handful of times and there were some rooms that were pretty worn down (tiles chipped or furniture is tarnished. But it’s mostly just normal wear and tear). Every room is ALWAYS clean. So that makes up for that. Having a full working kitchen with all cooking utensils in every room is a major plus. Overall, this hotel is one of my top go to’s for affordable, clean and spacious hotel stays.
