Pluses: nice, inviting public areas, outstanding pool, fast valet service, great location, fast and really hot, hot water, cozy suites, complete kitchenettes with new appliances. Minuses: ignorant desk staff, cheap and/or old furniture in rooms, bathroom with black mold and a door that was absolutely filthy, leaky faucets, single ply toilet paper and tissues, stained curtains. A real mix. A tremendously historic place which fact was completely ignored. If someone spent some money this could be a fantastic boutique hotel (probably at twice the room rate.

Cannot recommend this hotel. Staff were polite, decor looked fine and location was pleasant, but WiFi service was lousy (S-L-O-W, & kept disconnecting every few seconds - super annoying). Shower water never got warm (had to run shower more than 5 min just to get tepid temp - brr!). Will never be back to this place.

I chose the mutiny because of the neighborhood. It was very convenient. However, the rooms were dated, which generally doesn’t bother me. But the sheets were pilled and felt used even though they were clean. While I paid in full through hotels.com I was charged a resort fee at the hotel and a cleaning fee, per day. Although, when we checked in they let us know that housekeeping would not be coming and to let them know if we needed anything. There’s a gym and a pool, that’s the extent of a resort. Staff was helpful and friendly.

It was in a great location and walkable to the Grove. Beautiful pool area and rooms were more like apartments/condo's than hotel rooms. Full kitchen, dining area, family room and separate bedroom area. We learned about the unique history behind the hotel, very interesting.

The front staff was not there when we arrived to check in. Every time we went there, no one was present. The valet parking was ridiculous because we were 10 ft away from the front door to where our car was parked. There was construction noise and hvac noise every time it came on.
We were wait g at the front desk to check out and the receptionist was on a personal call for about 5 minutes.
