In the weeks leading up to staying, and post booking, I read a number of reviews giving this hotel 2/10 or complaining about this or that. The hotel was absolutely fine. No issues at all. Does it need a refurbishment? Don't most hotels? Is the shower cubical small? If you are morbidly obese it would be! The staff on reception were great, the staff at breakfast were lovely and friendly. The hotel was clean and safe and you are minutes from the Duomo - LITERALLY... I went and photographed it at 5am and was completely safe walking around at that time of the deserted morning with my camera. Is the rooftop bar great? Well, they have utilised the space for a bar but I don't think it's anything special. The room key is literally a key which seemed very outdated. That's really the only negative thing I have to say. Don't be put off by the awful reviews.

Reception and door staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location. Panoramic suite #1001 was lovely, spacious and clean - great for a family of three! The balcony was spacious - sadly it rained for our 3 day visit so could not use it! The breakfast on offer was lovely and restaurant staff welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

Hotel was nice and good location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Bed was extra firm and bothered my back. No lunch options as far as I know. Rooftop bar didn’t open until 4 or 5. No other option to have a drink. Beautiful view but atmosphere was a bit “high class” for my liking.

The bed and pillows were amazing very comfortable nights sleep How ever decor is shabby sink plug got stuck, rang rooftop bar for a table to be told to head on up to be turned away Fridge was not cold Generally could do with an upgrade
