The room itself was good but so many other things were not. We had no hot water or electricity for one night of our stay. There is no one on location to get information from and you have to text and wait for a response. We asked to be compensated for one night due to the water and electricity issues and have not been at this time. One night we got back late, opened the outside door to the stair entry and there were two males sitting in the first steps drinking beer. Very uncomfortable to ask to get by them to go upstairs. The location isn’t bad except that you hear street noise all night. The room was clean and nice so once you were in the room, besides the noise, it was comfortable. Still waiting on our refund. It was very worrisome to not have electricity to charge our phones in a different country.

The location is very close to Duomo. However the hot water in the unite ran out in 5 minutes. It's not enough for 2 people to take a shower without running out of hot water. I took the shower with cold water on both nights. The receptionist was rude and not helpful in giving direction to find the place. The guy who checked us in was extremely rude. He made me leave my luggage unattended to go to 2nd floor to pay him. My husband had to stay with the car and could not help me with the luggage. The guy who checked me in did not offer to help me with my 4 pieces of luggage. He just watched me struggling to put luggage in a very tiny elevator without offering any help. I do not recommend this place.

I was really looking forward to our stay here as I was promised over the phone there would be a fridge/freezer I could use (I’m a breastfeeding mom and needed a freezer to store milk for my son). The freezer was not cold and could not fit a normal size plastic water bottle. The fridge was also not very cold and I needed the milk I’d collected over the last week to stay frozen. Ultimately, we left the next day (a day early) because they could not accommodate for us and caught the first flight home. Another thing was that our room was directly above the KFC there. I expected noise being that close to the city center, but at 1-2am it was so loud because KFC was closing up. Like I said, I really wanted to love this place but it didn’t work out for us.

The staff here is hard to contact if you need anything. The room was very noisy! The staff didn’t even inform us that there was construction going on. Mind you, the drilling lasts all day and starts at around 9 a.m.! The staff is rude and inconsiderate. It’s unpleasant to step on the bathroom rug — it’s dirty and old. However, the location is perfect and close to everything.

Lush, central and extravagant

A beautiful apartment very neat, very spacious, surperb location. Couldn’t ask for a nicer apartment with all amenities provided. Bathroom was huge, everything lush. Right outside is the duomo and every other attraction.

Had air conditioning issue on first night where no cool air was blowing. Unfortunately staff initially weren’t able to help, but we were able to change room following day. Management should ensure that all air conditioners are properly functioning especially during the summer. Otherwise great location.

The entrance looks a little weird because is an old building and they run other hotels business in the same place but when I told you the room is great is because it really is ... very modern, spacious, clean and you can't beat the location ... literally 2 blocks away from the Duomo and stores .... really easy to get from Milano centrale ... I really recommend this place ...

Room 150 - Clean and Convenient, But Major Issues

The air conditioning worked great, the room was very clean, and check-in was super easy. You just press the button at the front door, and someone comes to meet you and bring you up to the room, very straightforward and convenient. The location is a major plus with this property as well! However, within minutes of the reception person leaving, I opened the bathroom door and was hit with a wall of sewer gas. The smell is intense and honestly nauseating- definitely not a minor issue. I did read one other review mentioning a bad bathroom odor, so I’m not sure if this is specific to Room 150 or if other rooms are affected too. Thankfully, the smell doesn’t seem to escape the bathroom as long as the door stays closed, but the moment you step in, it’s noxious and really unpleasant. Also, I was woken up in the middle of the night by a man screaming at the top of his lungs for hours. I couldn’t tell if he was inside the building or just outside, but it was loud, constant, and very unsettling. It sounded like someone under the influence or on drugs, and no one intervened. I know city centers can be noisy, but this felt extreme even for a busy area like the Duomo. In this instance, it would have been helpful to have reception on site so at least someone could take care (or it or call the police if needed.) If they can resolve the bathroom plumbing issue and find a way to manage nighttime disturbances, this would be a solid place to stay. But as it is now, I wouldn’t return.

The air con wasn't working and despite raising this they didn’t help. They sent a technician who I watched and did nothing. They never came and checked it themselves. In 36 degree heat, we hardly slept for the two nights there. Really poor. Shame as location was good.
