Cozy Cottage for 8 by White Lake & Lake Michigan

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located, cozy cottage. It has a view of White Lake, is minutes to Lake Michigan with public beach at Medberry park, the Hart-Montague bike trail, shops and breweries downtown, plenty of parking on site for your boat to launch nearby (1 mile) on White Lake, Maple Grove park just down the hill with playground, pavilion for family get-togethers, or amazing ice fishing in the winter months. Lewis Farms and Michigan Adventures are nearby for family fun.
There are three cozy bedrooms - two upstairs (one King and one queen) and then a King Bed downstairs, two couches have pullout queen beds as well, kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need.
Guest access
The entire home, drive way in front, and parking spaces to the left of the house are available for guest use. The garage is used to store bikes, grill, and outdoor games. The shed in the back is not accessible to guests.
Other things to note:
No air conditioning. There is an overhead fan in the two upstairs bedrooms and two large, mobile oscillating fans available for use in any room. The house is covered with trees which helps keep it cool in summer months.

Great experience

The home is very cute and comfortable. More importantly the host Katelyn is a joy to work with. We were in a sort of crisis and she made it easy for us to have a place to stay. She is so sweet.

We had a wonderful stay at this rental and would definitely recommend it to other families. The window air conditioner was a great surprise and kept the space comfortable during our visit. A few additional fans throughout the house would make it even better, especially on warmer days.The home was very family-friendly, with comfortable beds that made it easy for everyone to get a good night’s sleep. Our kids especially loved the selection of board games, which kept them entertained during downtime.The host was fantastic and always responded within the hour whenever we had a question, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free.The location is another huge plus—it’s close to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the water without a long drive.One of our favorite touches was the guest binder filled with brochures and local information. We visit this area often, but it still helped us discover new attractions and things to do that we hadn’t found before.Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again!

We enjoyed our weekend at this cute little cottage! The kids were pleasantly surprised by the toys in the basement which helped keep them busy in between activities. The walk to the park nearby was super reasonable and the playground was really nice. The beach front was not ideal for fishing so plan to go elsewhere if you’re interested in that. The downtown area around the corner was also really cute and we tried out a couple restaurants too. We only had one small hiccup check in but the host was easily contacted and responsive, getting us all checked in within a matter of minutes. The portable AC was great for keeping the area comfortable with all of the humidity. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
