Cosy holiday home in Montaron with garden

This authentically decorated railway cottage features a beautiful garden and green surroundings. The level crossing is secured with barriers and signalling and a fence has been placed between the cottage and the railway line. You can bring 2 pets on holiday and the bedrooms can comfortably accommodate a family or a group of friends.

Start the morning with a healthy walk along the lake, which is about 30 km from the accommodation. You can get a nice breakfast at the supermarket 10 km away and a nice restaurant can be found 2 km from the accommodation. By car, you can easily travel to the various sights and nice places in the vicinity of the accommodation.

The accommodation has a bathroom including a shower and a sink. If you do not wish to eat out one evening, you can prepare a delicious dinner yourself in the kitchen. There is a barbecue where you can grill a delicious piece of meat yourself and the garden is decorated with attractive furniture. Moreover, the cottage is equipped with fast internet via fibre optic cable and TV with international channel package.

Very nice small house
Wij verbleven er 4 nachten in week 7 van 2019. Bijna alles prima, alleen wel wifi, maar geen internet en de trein rijdt o.a. ‘s morgens om 06.00 uur langs en daar schudt het hele huis van.

Excellent accueil
Lieu très calme, malgré la présence d'une ligne de chemin de fer. Il ne passe un train que de façon vraiment très occasionnelle. Superbes paysages. Le gérant est vraiment très accueillant et bienveillant. Notre séjour c'est vraiment très bien passé. Nous avons pu poursuivre notre activité professionnelle en télétravail sans problèmes de connexion. Puis nous avons profité de qlqs jours de détente pour visiter les environs, avec nos chiens.

Cozy clean tastefully renovated railroad crossing house
We spent a week in this cozy, clean, tastefully renovated railroad crossing house. It was wonderful! Lots of walks nearby, including the canal towpath just a few hundred metres away. Large terrace with a wood-fired oven for spending long evenings out and a grassy semi-enclosed lawn to play on. The house is a converted railroad crossing house and there is a train that passes (very) infrequently. Just 2kms up the road is a very nice restaurant and the Morvan park and its lovely forest hikes is a few short minutes away. The wood-fired stove was perfect to keep the house warm and was the focal point for our family this nippy October. We would definitely come back!
