Villa Tanca with AC, Terrace and Sea Views

Summary:

A prestigious villa built in 1969 by Franco Tanca, in the heart of Monterosso al Mare, steps from the beach and the main square. A welcome package awaits, designed for our large villas: trofie pasta, pesto, a bottle of local wine and taggiasca olives, plus milk, orange juice and some seasonal fruit already in the fridge — the first evening's dinner is almost ready. 300 sqm over two floors, sleeps up to 12.



The Space:

Ground floor: a spacious living room with a 55" Smart TV, fully equipped kitchen (gas, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso), dining room with a large wooden table, breakfast table with a panoramic view, outdoor dining area with a stone oven and barbecue, and a small guest toilet (WC and sink only) between the dining area and the kitchen. First floor: 5 air-conditioned bedrooms (3 doubles, 1 twin, 1 triple with three singles), 3 elegant bathrooms with shower and bathtub (4 bathrooms in total across the villa), a large furnished sundeck terrace. Chef-at-Home service and Ligurian pasta and pesto classes available on request.



Guest Access:

Access on foot only, via the Scalinata dei Cappuccini (opposite Hotel Pasquale) or from the start of the pedestrian tunnel on the station side — the route is manageable and not especially demanding. Not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Paid garage with 2 car spaces, 700 metres from the villa.

Getting Around:

Paid garage (2 spaces) about 700 metres from the villa. The train station and village centre are an easy walk away.



Other Things to Note:

Special rules: no parties over Christmas, New Year or other holiday periods without the owner's written authorisation; during the Christmas holidays, families only, no groups of young people. Small and medium-sized dogs welcome (non-dangerous breeds) for a €70 supplement, on a lead in communal areas, not on beds or sofas. Heating switched off from 1 April to 1 November.



We leave a few breakfast basics in the kitchen for your first morning (croissants, biscuits, jam, tea, coffee, portioned powdered milk, sugar); where a kitchen is available, also our award-winning extra virgin olive oil from a local producer whose mill and honey production can be visited on one of our experiences, plus salt and washing-up liquid, and washing machine/dishwasher pods where fitted. Bed and bath linen included, with shower gel, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. Professional cleaning.



Our concierge office in Vernazza is open 9:30am–7:00pm from 1 March to 31 October; outside this period the office is closed, with presence available on request. We're always happy to welcome guests staying in any of the other villages too, whether for a quick hello or for advice on local experiences and activities.

Interaction with Guests:

⚠ ASSISTED CHECK-IN ONLY — no self check-in available. Our team welcomes guests in person at the agreed time. Standard hours 3:00pm–7:00pm; late check-in 7:00pm–10:00pm carries an €80 supplement; no check-in possible after 10:00pm — past this hour car parks close, night trains are rare and often delayed or cancelled, and the villages fall quiet with no one around who could really help anyway: far better to plan a calm arrival the next day than face the stress of arriving this late.
