We were satisfied with the room we stayed, except the bed mattress maybe was too old that it's too soft. Other than that, it's a great location for the first time visitor since the area was very safe and convenient.

Stay at Le Nouvel Hotel was pleasant from beginning to end. Wonderful and prompt service and was quite clean. Good location only few blocks walking distance from good restaurants.

Good experience overall all. Location is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. Cons: - Expensive onsite parking at $35+tax - Weird sliding wooden bathroom door that had huge gaps on the side making it redundant if you're sharing the room with someone

Our room was upgraded to a loft room and it did not disappoint. Clean, spacious, full equipped kitchen( including crockpot, flat top burners, pans, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, mini fridge etc) And even had a washer and dryer! Staff was friendly and location was perfect for a night out in montreal. Big jet tub and shower in bathroom. Bed was comfortable.

Our first impressions were good. The room was newly renovated and looked clean. The front desk informed us parking was included (which I had not been expecting). The hotel was also in a lower price bracket than some of the 3 star hotel chains downtown. The thing that really bothered us was that the fire alarm went off twice in about three days during our stay. Once in the evening and once in the early morning during our stay. During those alarms, the staff seemed completely unprepared and never made announcements about whether we were safe to ignore the alarms. Our room was also near the stairwell, and we heard a lot of noise from the halls and stairs. While the bedroom was newly renovated the bathroom felt run down. That said, the price was pretty good, especially with parking included.
