The host was very welcoming and responsive. The house was in a nice neighborhood and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely book here again!
Very nice older home. We appreciated the original woodwork, especially the staircase and hardwood floors! Very comfortable temperature in the house. A/C works well! Host was quick to respond to the questions we had. Great location with large deck out back with lots of tree cover!
Not enough towels and washcloths. Not enough toilet paper with replacements being 1/2 and 1/4 rolls. Refrigerator dripping water on the inside. Lamp halfway up the hill was not working and only could see walk when neighbors porchlight was on. Very dangerous at night. Coffee table in living room was on wheels which rotated easily and was very dangerous for children. Jacuzzi tub looks like it had not been working in years. Had to hold toaster handle down to make toast. No air conditioner in one bedroom.
Perfect winter break birthday and basketball weekend. Beautifully remodeled home with high ceilimgs and large rooms. Communication with host was always immediate. Hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the large deck with ample seating. Located minutes and easy access to downtown.
The house is a classic one for Morgantown - it has beautiful woodwork and located on the side of a mountain. Parking is a bit of an issue if you come with more than two cars, however, so we did have to park on the street and the neighborhood might be a little sketchy. The house had what we needed, except in the kitchen department, very few pots and dishes. I fortunately brought two pots from home, so we were set. The occasion for our visit was my Aunt's 97th birthday, so my family came from different states to help celebrate and we cooked in the house to make it easier on my aunt. Beds were adequate, but the house is in some flux and needs some repairs, otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for getting around Morgantown, which is where I grew up and went to college.
