Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Checked in at 9:30pm. Receptionist was nowhere to be found. When she finally showed up she was not personable at all. Barely spoke 2 words to me. We went to our room which was not clean. Bed was unmade. Garbage can was overflowing with garbage. Used towels on bathroom floor. We went back to the receptionist to make her aware of the situation. Her response was “What do you want me to do about it?” When we said we wanted the situation rectified. She told my husband he had an attitude. After she was unable to reach the hotel manager she begrudgingly “cleaned” the room with another coworker who at least was apologetic and polite. The carpet was never vacuumed and given the short amount of time they spent “cleaning” I’m sure it was not done thoroughly.
After finally settling in we tried to turn on the tv The remote control was missing a back and the batteries were held in with tape. It barely worked. We were lucky to be able to raise the tv volume. Changing the channel would have been impossible.
The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the shower light was not working. The shower consisted of a shower hose hung limply from the wall with no way to affix it to the wall.
Never ever, ever again will we stay at this hotel.
