"We had a fantastic stay at the Hôtel de France in Bergerac and couldn't recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. Special mention must go to the gentleman who checked us in — he was friendly, helpful and welcoming from the very first moment, nothing was too much trouble, and he gave us brilliant tips on the local area. It's rare to receive such a genuinely warm welcome, and it set the tone for our whole stay. The rest of the staff were equally lovely — always smiling, always happy to help, and clearly proud of their hotel. The room was comfortable and spotless, and the location is perfect for exploring Bergerac's beautiful old town, just a short stroll away. We left feeling like we'd been looked after by friends rather than staff. We'll definitely be back — thank you to the whole team, and especially to the gentleman on reception!"

"Such a lovely French apartment in the old part of Bergerac. We were so close to restaurants, bars, wine tastings, and shops. We spent many hours in the garden enjoying the view of the river just across the road. It was beautiful.The house was spacious and the kitchen stocked with plenty of pots, pans etc and basic commodities plus there’s a washing ms jibe. So perfect for a few nights stay!"
