Check in could have been better. Room was great. Would have been better if the weather had been better--cold & rainy, but that's not the hotels fault. Nice walking path nearby. Close to restaurants and stores downtown.

Weathervane Inn Very Good

The Weathervane Inn was conveniently located in town and right on the water. The service was great. Only negative was there was no elevator and we were put on the second floor. Not the greatest for a retired couple with knee issues.

No tv service. Bad view

Paid for lake view but couldn’t see lake; instead it was marina view and all you could see were boats. Also could not watch tv because they assumed you had your own streaming service ☹️

We arrived a couple of hours early, knowing our room may not be ready. I told her what room we were staying in. The clerk didnt offer to rush cleaning the room, or even to call when the room was ready. This is a very small town hotel, and i expected better service. I even mentioned I would be sleeping in my rental car until the room was ready. I expected more kindness, not indifference.

We were able to get a room, last minute which was great. It had all we needed. Loved our deck with chairs as the wether got pleasant. All day coffee, tea and cocoa was nice. The continental breakfast had nice variety. I enjoyed it very much. Staff was helpful. We were in a pickle and your hotel was very convenient for us. Thank you.
