Narragansett is the perfect seaside community for a laid-back coastal retreat, and is smack in the middle of one of the best fisheries in the country for those avid fishermen like us! This property includes a four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath Pottery Barn-inspired main level, with an ADDITIONAL finished family room/guest suite on the walkout lower level equipped with a kitchenette, queen sized bed in the sleeping area, and a fourth bathroom adding even more flexibility to this beautiful coastal home. Custom-built with energy efficient construction and tastefully designed for entertaining. This home boasts a comprehensive open floor plan and attention to detail throughout. Perfect for family getaways, reunions, URI graduations, and local wedding accommodations. Comfortable for as little as 4 to as many as 10. The property is available year-round for short and long-term stays. Shoulder season discounted rates are offered with flexible check-in and checkout times.

The Harbour Island community is nestled on a peninsula that jets into the salt pond. Enjoy barbecuing on our expanded deck leading onto a stone patio and one of the largest back yards on the island. Walk down our street to kayaking, clamming, and paddle boarding on Point Judith Pond. Two waterfront hiking trails are also located within walking distance. Our property is surround by four of Narragansett’s finest beaches just minutes away, and up the street from a quaint private association beach/swim area (the dock is for members only). Close to the Pier, restaurants, fresh seafood, farmers market, shopping, Block Island ferry, Newport festivals, Ocean State Pickleball, Shephard’s Run and town center.

We want you to enjoy your stay and not have to pack incidentals. Dish soap, laundry detergent, bath tissue, paper towels, trash bags, and beach chairs are all on site.

- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- Signed rental agreement required
- Strict cancellation policy per VRBO guidelines in Summer, relaxed in Shoulder Season

Joe and Kait are wonderful hosts—very communicative, helpful, accommodating—and the house is just as it looks in the pictures. It was a perfect house for our group of 10–6 adults, 4 kids—great comfortable space for hanging out, cooking and eating, and sleeping. It had everything we needed. We made great use of the entire space, the yard especially—soccer and football even though it was cold. It was the absolute perfect place to celebrate our family Thanksgiving, and we’d definitely do it again.

We had a great stay - this house is beautiful. Families can gather together but also can find little quiet nooks to read a book or just have some quiet time. Kitchen is stocked w all you need and there are chairs and towels for the beach. Owners are very welcoming and flexible. Area is perfect - lots of great restaurants and beaches. We tried three restaurants from the book the owners provided - all were outstanding. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Pottery Barn house was absolutely perfect. The house was very quaint, well appointed and spacious. The hosts were more than hospitable and very responsive. We throughly enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. Smores by the fire pit was the perfect nightime topper!

Fabulous family Thanksgiving

The house was exactly as pictured and described. We brought 3 families together to enjoy Thanksgiving and had plenty of space. The lower level was perfect for the family with a baby - privacy, quiet for naps and not able to be heard from the upper floors. We’d love to experience it in the summer!

Wow! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! From the decor and location to the cleanliness to the excellent communication with Joe our host, it was the perfect place to stay. House fully stocked and supplied with everything you could need for a beautiful getaway. Extended family trip for my mom’s 70th birthday

Love our time at this property. The house was perfect for our extended family (3 families) to spread out. My mom had the entire lower level apartment to herself and it worked out really well. We spent a lot of time in Newport and loved it there. Easy drive from this house. Great responsive hosts. Thanks for a great stay! My only recommendation would be to swap out the ceiling lights in the bedrooms for fans.

Great home for multi-generational family stay

My wife and I, plus kids and grandkids were able to fit comfortably in this well appointed home. Large backyard and great proximity to beaches and venues in both Narragansett and Newport. Also, nice quiet neighborhood. We all really enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful beach house!

This house is fantastic! So much space, beautiful decor, and convenient location! Just as the house description states: spaces for people to spread out, but beautiful common areas for games, movies, etc. We really enjoyed every aspect of this house!

Great spot!

Our stay at the Harbour Island house was wonderful. It's in a lovely area within a few minutes drive to the ocean. The house is comfortable and spacious and very nicely decorated. Our group of five women had a great long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the house and surrounding area. Our entire experience including dealing with Joe, the homeowner, was absolutely great. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

Beautiful Home in Narragansett

We had a wonderful stay with friends in Narragansett. The house was perfect. Everyone had plenty of room and the house was beautifully decorated. It was nestled into a quite neighborhood but was a short drive from everything you could need (grocery store, gas stations, restaurants and even a cute brewery that we stumbled upon!) We had a great time exploring the area during the day and coming back to the house in the evening to hang out. The owner was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at the property again.

Wonderful family weekend

Our family of 8, ranging from 18 to 91, had a fantastic weekend in this beautiful house. The neighborhood is lovely, we enjoyed the walks to the beach and on the trails. One can easily tell that the owners really care about their property, it is well maintained, tastefully decorated and very comfortable for everyone! Joe was very responsive and helpful! We would love to return sometime!

Girls Trip-60th Bday Celebration

We had an awesome time! The house was really nice. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I might suggest is that the owner but some new bath towels. (the towels were old/worn and there were not enough wash cloths to accommodate our party of 8; house was listed as a house for 10) Other than the towels, everything else was great!

Wonderful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable for all four couples. We accidentally locked ourselves out and the owner responded immediately and solved the problem. Our only hiccup was that we did not realize that we needed to bring soap. Would recommend this home to anyone.

Another 5+ Star Experience in Harbour Island

Joe and Katie have created a one-of-a-kind, unmatched vacation experience in Rhode Island. From a fully stocked house of essential amenities/cookware to a house design that is perfect for our families there is no detail that is missed. The large backyard, short stroll to the private beach, and 5minute drive to our favorite larger beach (Scarborough) makes for a premier location. Our second stay at the house will be accompanied by many more in the future thanks to all this home has to offer! Thank you both so much for everything! - The Meyers and Prynn families
