We have stayed here 5 or 6 years now. The motel is always clean, and the staff are very helpful and nice. It's always quiet in September and we just love it here.

Scarborough Beach Hotel is perfect for beach lovers in Narragansett. Nothing fancy. Easy walk across street to the beach; leave car at hotel and avoid parking fees. Rooms are clean and very well designed - though they may feel small at first the furniture and layout kept us comfortable throughout the day and night. Staff is friendly and helps with any request.

Please not room next to laundry area.

The room was a good size but it was right next to the area where the staff washes linens. So in the morning there was a lot of noise that was right up against where the headboard of the bed was. That lasted for over an hour…daily. Parking on the backside of the motel is tight and people didn’t park in between the lines and I was forced to park in a non marked spot. I did put my parking pass on my dash though. There was a slight step up to the room from the door that was marked with worn yellow tape. The bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was clean. There was a dehumidifier in the room in addition to the a/c so it was a bit noisy. I shut the dehumidifier off after it became full and I emptied it. I was so excited to stay here because of my stay last year. This stay was meh.

The property was clean and well maintained. I would suggest not only vacumming the room but also washing the floors in the room as well as the bathroom. The pads on the mops I saw being used were very dirty. I think they should be changed, for good health reasons, after each room is wiped down. I would have liked to see more choices for breakfast such as fresh fruit in season, whole wheat toast, and or small containers of yogurt

The motel location is excellent. But it was not worth $350. They don’t have an ice machine and charge you for ice/water. They exactly charge you for everything!!! Charge for an early check in and no late check out. The breakfast is only bagels & they watch you making it. The room was fairly clean but the floor is so sandy(guess that’s the cost of being near beach).

Great location. Clean, safe and walk across the street to the beach! Perfect! No frills in this property but it was perfect for me. Meaning, the bathroom is quite small and outdated, but it was hot and clean. Cute, cute place! Very nice people and staff were exceptional, always asking if you need anything. Ohhhhh, and they have free coffee in the morning!

I screwed up and reserved a room for one night but intended two. At check-in, although I had to switch rooms for night 2, they fixed me up and both rooms were nice. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend to friends.
