Steele, Brown County Back Roads Studio tour featuring many local artists and craftspeople working in their home studios, famous Story Inn restaurant and village, home of Bill Monroe Bluegrass Festival. TC Steele's home and studio is one of Indiana's State Historical sites and is only minutes away.

All our cabins have a 3 night minimum for Major Holidays. NO PETS

To the west, is Bloomington, home of Indiana University offering over 10 performing arts venues, two wineries, multiple breweries and has become a foodie destination for the Midwest offering over 75 local restaurants including many different ethnic flavors and Indiana's largest lake, Lake Monroe, is only minutes away.

If you like Kayaking you can kayak gentle waters of Lake Monroe in small fingers/canals minutes away and easy put in at Crooked Creek launching ramp. This will then open up to a large part of the lake that is very shallow and safe to take children.

We were staying for my daughter's wedding at The Olde Barn. House was a perfect central spot for all to pop in and out of. Did have multiple light bulbs that needed replaced but we didn't ask for assistance.

Great location for downtown shopping. Definitely an older property so there are some squeaky floor boards but nothing too bad. Great for a big family. Outdoor porch made the property. Used it way more than I thought.

Perfect for IU Graduation with Family

My family stayed here for IU graduation, and this home and Nashville were absolutely perfect for us. We had a 30 minute drive to IU, on a beautiful winding road. Absolutely stunning way to begin and end our days. The home’s porch is spectacular for morning coffee and evening drinks. Every day, could not resist the porch! The town is full of fun shops and yummy restaurants, all easily walk-able from the house. Wonderful time for me and my family, ages ranging 13 to 87,

We had a wonderful stay. Before we even got to the location, working with Hills O’Brown was great. They were very friendly and provided a lot of helpful information about the area and expectations for eclipse weekend. The house itself was perfect. Comfortable beds, very clean. Great location. Awesome spots to relax on the large wraparound porch.

Awesome House!

Barn Treasures Inn was a perfect place for us to stay. Plenty of room for all of us (eight lifetime friends celebrating our 70th birthdays). We had a blast. We spent a lot of time outside on the wrap around porch. We are going to book it again next year.

Great location!

Quiet and comfortable. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to shops. The only problem we had was finding the 3rd bathroom because the door sticks, we thought it was locked. It is an older home with wood floors, so walking quietly wasn't possible. It wasn't a problem though. We would stay there again.

Perfect layout for bigger groups!

Large, quaintly decorated home easily walkable to several restaurants, bars, and shops. There were 5 couples on our trip and we had ample space. The house is laid out perfectly for large groups to spend time together in the living room, at the large dining table or out on the wrap around porch. Having three full bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get ready. There’s a big yard a fire pit to enjoy as well and essentially no neighbors (other than the fire station across the street). The check in process was seamless and the owners respond promptly to messages. I would highly recommend Barn Treasures!

Great old house and perfect location!

My friends and I came to Nashville for our girls trip and it was the perfect house for us. It was spacious and clean. It has an old country cottage feel and look with many nice amenities. It was so great being right in town within walking distance of everything. We loved the big wraparound front porch. We definitely hope to be back again next year!

Wonderful Girlfriend Get Away!

Wonderful location and comfortable home for 10 of us. Plenty of parking, huge wraparound porch with lots of seating. The home was very comfortable, and owners have thought of everything, including throws to wrap up in. Walking distance to town for shopping, food and drink! The only thing I might have wanted to know was that the fire station is your neighbor. Also, only 1 bedroom is downstairs. Not a problem for us. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Family ladies weekend was fabulous!

We truly enjoyed this perfect house! We gather every year- women in our family ranging in age from 29 to 75! This location was perfect- within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants! We were also able to gather in the living/dining area & laugh and enjoy each other. Coffee on the front porch was so nice! Our weather was perfect & this house made our trip memorable!! The only problem we found is that we all had coffee at the house on the morning before we checked out. We were unable to wash the mugs because we had no dish soap. We did the best we could but we would rather have just left them in the dishwasher.

This is important! VRBO said handicap(picture of wheelchair). It was not handicap accessible. The back door ramp was steep. The front ramp was hard to access because of high curb. Inside the “ramps” transitioning between rooms were awkward And steep. The shower was not handicap accessible at all. Fortunately (I guess), our handicapped person had to cancel last minute or we would have had a real dilemma.

The location was awesome... Walking distance to downtown. The house was clean but had a strange layout that was a little choppy. It was also super hot the weekend we were there and there were certain cold and hot spots throughout the house... Even though the air conditioning was on full time. If definitely stay there again just because of the location... You can't beat that!
