Now with high speed FIBEROPTIC wifi. This unique Log Cabin with fireplace that sleeps six people, has two bedrooms and a loft. It has style all its own, close to Nashville, (in normal traffic about 30 min to airport and Downtown Nashville)
Once owned by June & Johnny Cash this property has music history. "Johnny Cabin" sits on treed acreage. The original cabin structure pre-civil war era was reconstructed on this property by famed preservationist architect Braxton Dixon. The cabin has been beautifully renovated with careful attention to providing modern comfort along with beautiful interiors. There are antiques found locally and original to the cabin when we purchased it. Full size modern kitchen with new appliances, bathroom with oversized tile shower and stack washer and dryer. The right place to compose, create or have a great getaway with family and friends. There is a second cabin several hundred feet away on the same acreage, also once owned by the Cash family, also available “Log Cabin Dreamy Loft Suite”

Lovely Johnny Cabin
Loved everything about this property! We went to Nashville for a Predators game & the commute was easy and around 25min. It was nice to come out to the cabin & have privacy after all the hustle & bustle of the city. The host was fantastic & prompt with replies. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, reading the history of the property & just the overall decor of the cabin. Would stay here again if ever back in Tennessee. 10/10.

We escaped to Johnny Cabin for a weekend with college friends and their babies. The location was great and property was adorable. Location - about 40 mins from BNA and 15-20 mins from lots of restaurants and grocery stores in Hendersonville. Cabin - super cute space, well laid out and utilized. Sat by the fire as the snow fell. We were able to cook meals at the cabin as there were quite a few pots, pans, plates, etc available to use. Charcoal grill came in handy for steaks. Heat worked well, a little too well up in the loft - put your always cold friends or family up there or sleep with the window open. Joy stopped over to bring a shovel and salt as snow was expected and gave us some neat info and history about the property itself which was fun to hear. Overall a wonderful place to relax, eat too much, catch up with friends, play games, and watch snow fall.

Our family had a great stay at Johnny’s Cabin. Cabin was clean and well equipped. Location was away from the city, but close enough (35min) to make a trip to downtown easy. We enjoyed the coziness and warmth of the cabin and the history. A suggestion for improvement would be more hooks for hanging clothing and more towel bars or a rack for hanging wet towels. But we managed with a group of 6 without much inconvenience. Joy was great to work with and communication was prompt. We would recommend this cabin and may well return in the near future. Thank you Joy!

Beautiful cabin
This was a beautiful cabin in suburban Hendersonville. The kitchen was well appointed, the shower powerful and bed comfortable. The only downside-was on a busy street so it was treacherous to stop and access the acutely shaped driveway at night, we heard a fair amount of road noise (not constantly, but we noticed motorcycles, trucks, ambulances…) and the walls between the two adjoining bedrooms were paper thin. We loved the decor, the welcoming snacks and elevation of the home. It never felt like anybody could see in and the back porch abutted a stone wall-more privacy! It had a fascinating history which was fun to read about. The owners did a great job setting up and maintaining this cabin. It was spotlessly clean and they thought of everything. They even had shampoo and cream rinse if you forgot yours! We had a wonderful time and gave this 5 stars because the minor concerns above couldn’t be resolved in any conceivable way. Thank you for having us!!!
