We mostly loved our stay at The Gilmore. Location is fantastic. Front desk staff was wonderful. Great outdoor areas. New property - nicely decorated, new finishes. However, while hardwood floors are lovely to look at, they are not great for multi-level living and therefore we constantly heard the people above us walking and walking and walking. I'd only stay again if I could be on the top floor.

The Gilmore is a great hotel if you are looking for a boutique property in the fabulous 12 South area. $6-10 Lyft to Downtown. Walkable to tons of great restaurants. The rooms are lovely. 202 had a strong smell of fresh paint, so I was accommodated with a different room for the last two nights of my three night stay. The front desk staff were the best I've ever met after staying in several hundred properties over a lifetime of travel and former work in the airline industry. I appreciated their thoughtfulness and personal attention very much. Don't hesitate to book here...you'll have a lovely stay.

This is a great hotel .The rooms are big with lots of closet space. The front desk staff was so helpful and engaging . The area around the hotel is filled with great restaurants and bars. It is a quick trip to downtown Nashville. Definately recommend this hotel

Very clean and efficient space in the room. Large tv and easy to use. Fancy coffee maker but I eventually figured it out. Younger folks would have no problem with this. Staff very friendly and courtyard was also nice. Staff recommended a restaurant, The Henry, which is an easy 2 min walk. Might have been the best restaurant meal I’ve ever had. Braised ribs!

Very Clean, Cozy, Welcoming, and Accommodating

I can't post my full review because there isn’t enough character space but overall, it was a great stay. Great bed and pillows, very clean (no bugs, I check lol), welcoming staff, comfortable, great amenities, and a nice location away from the craziness of Broadway. Would definitely stay again. Downsides are the price of parking (58 something for two nights) and I was kinda disappointed by the balcony view. We could also hear the people above us walking throughout our stay.
