The Grand Hyatt Baha Mar was very nice for our family of 10 ages 7 to 68. We are not casino people, but we all enjoyed the beach, pools and water park. The MTS transportation service was amazing for helping transport us to our excursions and the airport. The Restaurants were great. We ate at Marcus which was amazing, The Sugar Factory was awesome, especially the desserts, my children loved Cinko for the sushi. All the pool area eating establishments were great too. All the guys out front were so nice. Ronard helped us a lot. All the staff were very nice to us. We had an awesome stay there. Would highly recommend it. The only thing that would make it better, was if the pools were open past 5pm each day. But I am sure you have some people who would not watch their children and that could be dangerous. Just maybe some type of nightly activity that was not arcade base. Overall a great family vacation and we made so many great memories. We will be back. Thank you for having such a great staff and facility to enjoy.

Overall an amazing - if much more expensive than anticipated — experience! Rooms were exceptionally clean / bummer that we got assigned a junior balcony instead of a full one. But with so much space “on campus” - no need to be in the room other than to shower, change and sleep. All the staff were so kind and friendly. One note of caution - do not go to Carna Steakhouse. Made that mistake first night. Great service but subpar steak (I am used to NY steakhouses) and absolute thievery on their prices. It will take you a while to find but there is ONE red wine under $200 for the bottle which is passable to eat with your steak (ours was a “porterhouse” with an full inch plus of fat down one side - rest wasn’t that great either)?very, very disappointed. We LOVED Marcus Fish and Chophouse. It’s down by the beach - we were so excited to leave the casino building complex for dinner- make sure you sit up on second floor which is covered roof but open air sides to the water. Just stunning ! And you can go there for just drinks at their spacious bar (and pro tip- they serve their dinner menu at the bar so if you can’t get reservations). Beach, casino, the jazz club, too many pools to count. And the water park slides! Oh my gosh …. So fun. An amazing time. This place is big enough to not be on a loop. You can do something different every day. Took a roadtrip downtown Nassau for some local culture and that was fun to! Would love to come back again and hope to do so.

Construction at multiple locations within the resort with noises throughout the day. A bit of attitude when calling guest services to inquire about the incoming hurricane (phone hand set not working), taxis arranged by the hotel charged more than double what was posted on their signs, paying resort fees when most of the resort was closed on numerous days during our stay (water park and majority of the pools) while the main pool was under construction the whole time. Water from the facet and shower has a strong odd smell. Food at numerous restaurants on the resort tasted of freezer burn (Swimming Pigs was the only decent place), got food poisoning from a dinner at the Regatta Buffet from their tuna sushi cone, 25% added onto all bills on the resort. House keeping spent 2 hours in our room while we went to lunch to come back to them still being in our room; we went back downstairs for another 20 minutes and returned to our room with the tv on the football game when we left the tv off. Cancellations to excursions made with the hotel when the agent at the “two pigs” shack guaranteed that it would not get cancelled. Areas surrounding the resort were dirty and the cars drive super close to you on the small side walks. The room with an ocean view is more of a resort view with the ocean in the background. The beach was covered with seaweed. The Drift bar was nice but prepare to pay about $45 for two drinks. The water park slides were ok when they were open.

The hotel itself was clean and the staff friendly. The layout of the hotel was not good, we were used to visiting years ago when the Crystal Palace was in this location. The rooms were too far from the ocean so ocean view was minimal. The waterpark which was a huge eyesore was smack dab in the middle of the buildings. None of the restaurant served Bahamian style meals and there was basically no entertainment. Highly disappointed and would not return.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful ocean view from room, large shower and comfortable bed and linens. Nice walkways around the resort grounds and along the ocean. THE Beach area had complementry loungers, umbrellas, and water sports. Enjoyed watching turtles and manta rays from the walkway off the pier. Having the water park next door was a fun bonus. Even as middle age married couple on a kid free trip. FyI The water park is cheaper on food and drinks. They do give you reusble water bottles however, its hard to fing good cold water. And the charge for bottle water is outrages. The sugar factory was the best testing food for the value of your dollar.

Ocean view room wss amazing. The food at Stix was quite tasty. There are several pools...all are great. The Baha Mar hotels are extremely nice.

Has everything, but very expensive. This resort is HUGE. It literally took 20 min. To walk from our room to the water park on the same property. It was an amazing place, but everything there was very high- end. Stores included Tiffany's and Balenciaga. There was no casual shopping. I felt underdressed even in the restaurants labeled as"casual." Everything has a 25$ service charge, even when no service was included and you were just purchasing a bag of chips. This trip cost me $1200 more than i expected by the time i checked out, just for my mother and I. I would not recommend it for family travel unless you are lucky enough to be very wealthy.

Pools and beaches were great. Food and drinks are extremely expensive Service was terrible around the entire property. They add the VAT and service charge to all transactions and is about 25%.

Beautiful property with lovely white coral sand beach. The waterpark on the property has fun options. Thoroughly enjoyed the excellent dining options just be ready for the price tag (~45 US$ for an entree). The resort provides you with a re-usable water bottle that can be filled at different locations even at the beach! Visiting the flamingos was a highlight every morning. Would have preferred the casino to be a little more out of the way. You can’t reach anything in the resort without having to walk right through it.
