The property was as pictured in their website. . The room was excellent, very clean, and we had a beautiful view. Entire staff was exceptionally friendly. However, the room next to us had several young children that were screaming , crying, running around and slamming their door at 5:30 in the morning EVERY DAY. Not sure there was even an adult in the room. We called the front desk to complain and they told us to remember that they are children. They did not come up to the room and ask them to quiet down or to check if their was an adult in the room.The front desk told us to hurry up and pack all of our things before the next check-in and they would “try” move us to another room. Very disappointed how this issue was handled.

We travel a lot, and this was by far one of our most expensive vacations ever. The restaurants are very pricey, the areas around the hotel are pricey, and the exursions are pricey. Maybe that's just the Bahamas. I would rather have splured in Aruba.

My stay at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar fell materially short of expectations for a property positioned as a luxury flagship resort. The primary breakdown was the staff experience. Multiple interactions felt unwelcoming, dismissive, and poorly managed. Rather than hospitality, the tone often came across as disengaged and, at times, confrontational. There was a noticeable lack of customer-service training, emotional intelligence, and accountability. In several instances, the behavior crossed from indifferent into what felt like borderline bullying—never acceptable, especially at this price point.

This was our first visit to the Baha Mar. We do not usually go to resorts of this size, but a friend encouraged us to join their family on vacation. We loved it and so did our daughter! The water park was really fun, the pools were great, and the beach was very nice! We were there over New Year's and there was an awesome fireworks show at midnight. There was so much to do that we have plenty of things left to experience on our next trip! There are a lot of travel blogs that have tips for trips to the resort and it is definitely worth reading the tips that are out there and doing research!
