We had clean room, good security. The trattoria restaurant was excellent. The breakfast at Tic Tok restaurant were big. Please notice the Hotel, our room get cold to soon, the cold filtered inside the room 1984, when the windows were closed. We felt the wind coming inside. We could administrate the temperature of the air conditioner so we did had the possibility of warming the room. We asked for a room with queen bed, but they gave us a full size bed. (we did not complained about it.)

The room itself was ok but very small. Check-in was horrific and we were promised a 2 bath unit and only received 1. I had also spoken to several people about a fridge in our room and still had to call after checking in to get one. Very disappointing.

Here were the things that went wrong with our stay: 1)we were driving to NYC because they said parking was nearby and convenient. We got lost and called for directions. Staff said they could not help us because they said they had never driven to the hotel and didn't know how to get there from the highway we were on. They did not refer us to someone who could assist us. We were on our own! 2)After we got our room, the shower faucet handles (there were four of them) didn't work, and when we tried to get them to work there was no hot water. Front desk could not give us any pointers about how to use the faucets because they said every room was different and said facilities would come to help us. Facilities NEVER came despite repeated calls to the front desk. We were again left on our own with no hot water. WE EVENTUALLY FIXED IT OURSELVES! 3)The room was very small and not to our liking, there was barely enough room for the queen size bed, and the TV screen was much smaller than we were used to. 4) We were not at the time of check-in given any paper documents or receipts, nor did the clerk tell us what he was doing, he did not tell us what our charges were and that he was charging a deposit. We do not understand why our stay for only two nights cost over 600 when expedia and trivago said the cost of the rooms were supposed to be 174/night, yet we were charged $322 for our second night! 4)Construction noise--both corners had construction at hotel, 8/21 at night! 5) No microwave.

I always like that they have a security team that is consistent in checking that you are a guest there. The convenience of everything is in walking distance. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful in addressing your concerns/ complaints. Overall this is my go to hotel when I come to New York.
