The hotel room was clean. Bedding was fresh. The room was cold and there was no heat control. They were very accommodating for us as we brought our dog. We had a ground room with patio door out the back which was perfect. The hotel was quiet which was nice as we had to go to bed early for an early morning rise. I would definitely stay here again or recommend to a friend.

Beautiful area right on the lake rented two ooms for myself and my guy i work with. Didnt find out till we signed i that the pool hot tub and restaurant were all closed due to renovations. As well there was mold on the walls in the bathroom. When i contacted manager never answerdd or returned call. When we went back second night the lovely lady at the desk offered to move us to the other side of the hotel where the newly renovated rooms were which was fabtastic. Other then the fat that we had to travel back over to the otherside of the hotel to get i e and up a flight of stairs. Im sure it will be nice when its done but i will not going back.

Hotel needs a makeover
We stayed in the hotel on Christmas day. The view of the lake was lovely and check-in was smooth. On the opposite side, however, the hotel is right on a major highway. There was a big brunch going on when we arrived, which we hoped to have on Boxing Day when we were checking out, but were told there would be no restaurant open until 4pm, not even for a coffee. The room was a bit threadbare and run down with a tiny bathroom that you could barely turn around in. The bed was comfortable and there was a half-decent sofa. The heating unit was loud and would go on and off intermittently in the night, waking us up, and the heating unit on the outside (outdoors) was missing a faceplate, so the copper and other workings were exposed and held together by a plastic twist tie. I went out for a walk, but there is no boardwalk or pathway by the lake, the marina is quite industrial feeling. The worst part was that we found a pair of female black undies on the desk chair when we pulled it out to sit down. Even the view could not make up for that. The hotel needs a makeover inside and out.
