Bright corner room with big windows. Great views. Clean. Comfortable. Murphy bed. Sofa. Two chairs and drop-leaf table. Kitchenette. Jetted bathtub. Good quality towels and linens. Elevator. Large, inviting lobby floor with grand fireplace, sofas, chairs, and tables beautifully arranged for one, two, or more to enjoy reading a book or quiet conversation. Wide veranda with rocking chairs; I can sit and watch the world go by. Wonderful, old-fashioned Christmas decorations all around the property, inside and out, recall good times and ensure happy holiday memories. It's like stepping into a Christmas Village scene. Gracious, knowledgeable staff at the desk 24 hours a day welcome guests and answer all my questions about the hotel and the town. Hospitality couldn't be better. I love this place!

Overall, the property itself was quite nice. I really enjoyed the indoor pool plus the indoor outdoor hot tubs. The staff was very friendly and efficient. However, the room was a bit of a disappointment. The mattress of the bed was quite uncomfortable and the provided pillows had absolutely no support. My head sunk immediately to the mattress. In addition, there was no place in the bathroom to hang wet bathing suits, and there was not a deadbolt between my room and the adjoining. Simply a button lock and a chain. The room smelled so strongly of cleanser when I checked in that, despite opening the windows, the smell was still there two days later. And the TV was mounted to the wall next to the bed, meaning it could not be watched from there. Overall, not a bad place to stay, but those little things really added up to impact my trip.

Myself, my husband, and our 6-month old daughter recently stayed at Eastern Slope Inn. We had a deluxe queen suite. The suite was very spacious and had everything you could need for a longer stay with family (dishwasher, washer and dryer, full kitchen, etc.). However, at $160 a night (usually cost more but we got a discount on Expedia) the room could have been cleaner and could have provided a better bed situation. You get a Murphy bed with a queen mattress that is extremely outdated and very uncomfortable (like springs into your back uncomfortable). I can’t imagine paying full price for that to be the result. The resort offers a lot regarding things to do. They also have an outdoor pool at their Village Places location but it is not well maintained and is not great for a pool day. Where our room was located it was very quiet and the resort is centrally located in North Conway. The front staff (especially Matthew) were extremely friendly and accommodating.

It's a great location. The rooms could use some updating. New pillows would be awesome. The pillows we had were flat as pancakes. Could use new TV's also. We love that we are in walking distance to great restaurants and fun shopping.
