Each time I used my key I had to have it reset. I was on ghe 4th floor and had to go back downstairs to have my key reset every time during my stay. The bathroom ceiling leaked a yellow brown liquid onto the floor, towels, clothes, toilet seat that looked like urine but was drainage from the ceiling.

I usually pick Holiday Inn express over other options. They are generally clean and comfortable. This room felt cramped, our door didn’t shut tight so light came through at night, the ice machine wasn’t somewhere out of the way, it was right outside our door. There was something sticky on the floor, and to top it off, the air didn’t work causing the room to get quite stuffy. Luckily the window opened a little but it was freezing the kids out so we had to shut it. Not my best night to say the least.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful as were the breakfast and housekeeping crew. Check-in was smooth with options given to pick my room along with advice on the benefits of different rooms. The room had been recently updated although a few items looked to be old, like the TV. Breakfast choices were vast and reasonable quality food. This location was surrounded by ample shopping and dining, most within walking distance along with the conference center. The TV was old and remote worked sporadically. We had to get new keys during our stay as ours stopped working; we were not asked for ID or other information beyond room number and name which was a bit unnerving. Be aware that this location is near Hill Air Force Base; every day multiple jets circled the area with loud noise.

Staff was very nice! Rooms are nice and clean. Lots of towels! Comfortable beds and a variety of pillows on each bed. Breakfast was only ok. But a good selection. The pool area is cool, and the pool is not warm, but you get used to it and it is ok. We still swam 2 times. The hot tub definately needs some love, the walls of it are peeling chunks off, and the temp is not super hot. But still, we enjoyed our time there. Would stay again. The price was great

We loved the breakfast! The towels were very soft, unexpectedly soft. The staff were not friendly, seemed tired and ready to go which I do not blame them for that! The one thing that stood out was the ice machines were broken. The only machine that worked was the one on the second floor. Also, the elevator seems like it needs a repair.

Horrible nights stay in room 408

This hotel has been refurbished in the past year and honestly appears to be and has been rated highly on several travel sites. However, our experience was not good. First and foremost if you get room 408 request a different room or at least don’t sleep on the bed closest to the window. It's crap. It's like 2 inches in size compared to the other pillow top. Second.... Bring your own pillows as these are like inflatables with holes in them as they deflate to nothing when you lay on them. Literally flatter than a pancake and pretty much like laying on a sheet of newspaper. My husband and I had the worst night of sleep while our daughter slept like a princess. Our mattress also felt like the springs were warn out as every time my husband moved it made noise and I felt every move he made. Worst night I've experienced in a looooong time. When we arrived the room was as cold as a deep freezer. We left for dinner, came back and room seemed to have warmed up. That night we woke up sweating and the thermostat said it was at 67 but was not working and definitely not as cool as 67. Try 75ish?! I also woke up to what sounded like a distant alarm to realizing that it was the refrigerator motor. That was annoying every time it cycled. The bathroom was very tiny. We booked a hotel with a pool/spa but there were so many kids/teen in there that we couldn’t enjoy these amenities. Breakfast was meh. The price is affordable but I wouldn’t book this place again.
