Welcome to Suite C at Salty Air Suites — your peaceful seaside escape just a few houses from the sands of Old Orchard Beach.

This sunny upstairs suite includes 3 well-arranged bedrooms (1 queen and 2 full beds), a full bathroom with a tub/shower, and an open kitchen and dining area that make smart use of space. The living room opens to a private balcony (newly renovated) with ocean views — perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Maine vacation at 13 bay ave

Great location close enough to the pier for a nice walk but you dont have to deal with the night life of the pier. Beach is very close very clean. Nice low tide for the littles. The place was nice and the ac kept us cool when we had a 68 degreen humid night. Decks are nice and brand new the upper deck for unit c was a nice relaxing area to listen to the ocean at night. The parking is a bit tight for a truck but if you can snag a free on street parking space it is golden. I wouod for sure book again in the future

Ideal if your priorities are budget and perfect beach location

The things we enjoyed about our stay was location to the beach and restaurants, quick response from our host, number of rooms, balcony, the cooling worked great, and price affordable. Here are some things to know before you book. One of the bedrooms opens into another and the door was broken which minimized privacy. It was smaller than we anticipated with living room fitting about 4. Dining room furniture is too bulky for the space so it was hard to fit around the table. Table slopes. It is an upstairs condo so be aware the stairs are very narrow and steep. The property lacked upkeep. The balcony did not feel level or secure. Inside the floors are sloped. The fridge leaks water. Light out in pantry. No ventilation for oven and it smells of something burning (needs cleaning). Bathroom is very small and has an odor with evidence of mold starting in the corners. The shower is very cramped because the sealing is angled to where the shower curtain doesn’t close all the way, cuts off half the shower, and hangs in the tub causing mildew. The pillows are flat and uncomfortable. One of the beds sagged in the middle. The first night it was very uneven and affected our sleep. The host was helpful to fix it in a very timely fashion. However, the ply board she replaced is not thick enough so it still bends and folds you toward the middle of the bed. We found some hair in the shower and on some of the linens. This property is perfect for someone who’s priority is location and low budget.

Perfect location

The great location outshines the imperfections. Parking is shared between the three or four renters, which meant we found street parking nearby. Stairs leading up to the unit are STEEP and narrow. One bedroom is private but the other two are connected- you walk through one to get to the other, but it’s clean, has a big kitchen, great little balcony for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails, owner is great and always available by text and you’re steps to the beach. Obviously we liked it enough to be headed in to our second summer vacation there!

The location and view were great besides And the owner is nice besides that - nothing else.. The bathroom was gross. My husband had to unclog the sink and tub on the first day,there was mold , and we wore shoes in the shower. The kitchen didn’t have enough glasses for a a family of 5, no organization, shelf’s had old ice packs stuck to it, and bags every where. It didn’t have enough baking pans or lids for pots. The living room was an old couch that was covered with pieces that kept falling on the floor. The air conditioned kept only half the house cool. The beat part was view and location. We spent a lot of time away from the house.
